Nestled on a hillside on the edge of the little hamlet of Katserata is Villa Aramis. Katserata is just a short drive from the pretty cosmopolitan harbour of Fiskardo in the very north of the island. The stunning panoramic views that are enjoyed from the terraces will quite simply take your breath away. Ithaka, Lefkada and a cluster of smaller islands are just a stones throw away, and on a clear day the mountainous Greek mainland is also visible.

This two bedroom villa was the owner’s residence for the last few years and is very tastefully furnished with all the modern touches you would expect in a home of this standard.

The g...round floor is mainly open plan with a fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full oven and hob, fridge freezer and plenty of utensils and crockery should you decide to eat in. There is a dining area with French doors leading out onto a balcony where you will find a gas barbecue and table and chairs; perfect for Al fresco dining. The lounge area, with Satelite Flat Screen TV, DVD player and feature fireplace has its own set of French doors leading out onto another balcony which in turn has steps down to the pool area. Also on this floor is a shower room and a utility room.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, both with ensuite shower rooms. The double room has French doors leading onto two balconies, one of which is shared with the twin bedroom.

On a lower level from the house is the figure of eight swimming pool. The pool area is completely paved and also enjoys the stunning views. There is another set of table and chairs together with sunbeds and a large parasol.

For nights in the owner has thoughtfully provided some board games for guests to enjoy.

A five minute drive from the villa will bring you to the nearby village of Magganos which has a couple of tavernas, minimarkets and a fruit and vegetable shop. Fiskardo is about 10 minutes drive away and on route you will pass the lovely pebbly cove of Foki Bay with its crystal clear waters and shade provided by the many olive trees. There is also a taverna here with lots of fresh prepared greek dishes to tempt you. Fiskardo itself is a magnet for yacht enthusiasts with many rich and famous people visiting the ‘St Tropez of Greece’. Restaurants, café bars and gifts shops line the pastel coloured venetian harbour from, the perfect place for a relaxing evening.

The preferred way to explore the area is by boat and there are a number of boat companies on the harbour front where you can hire a small motorboat for the day, together with more organized boat trips.
