This cozy, well furnished apartment is on the second floor of an 18th century building situated in the heart of the beautiful Italian village of Cernobbio, located on Lake Como.
This elegant apartment is quite spacious and is in a very quiet area in the old part of Cernobbio and has recently been totally renovated and furnished. It is well equipped with modern plumbing, modern kitchen appliances, as well as dishes, stemware, tableware and all of the necessary utensils for cooking and eating.

The apartment was soo lovely, spotless and very comfy. We had a great time. The owner was very helpful and gave us lots of hints on places to see, what to do, and where to eat, we felt just like locals.
The location is brilliant, close to all the amenities in Cernobbio.
We have been visiting lake Como many times, and this is our most favorite apartment. Highly recommended. -

Stopped here in June with partner and 2 friends. Lovely little apartment with balcony. Close to all the local amenities, great restaurant downstairs. Hassi, the owner works around the corner, was very friendly and extremely helpful.

This place lives up to it's name, it is a very cosy appartment located in the centre of the old town in Cernobbio. It is less than 2 minute walk to the ferry and bus routes. Hassi is very helpful and works close by so it was great to have him at hand

Perfect position in the centre of this idyllic town, a few minutes from the ferry and surrounded by great coffee shops and restaurants. This apartment is a gem. Great living space, 2 bedrooms, a well fitted bathroom with plenty of hot water! Hassi the owner was always available - service was great. I have travelled a lot and this apartment was excellent value for money. The town of Cernobbio is a perfect base for all of Lake Como with easy transport routes.The difficult part was leaving and I intend to return...

I had the pleasure of spending part of my childhood in the charming town of Cernobbio some 50 years ago. To be able to stay,now, in such a well appointed and comfortable apartment as this has been perfection itself. The tasteful decoration, modern conveniences, view from the little balcony with its planted flower containers, and lake view from the the little loft window have made this a very memorable stay. The apartment is of course just a very few minutes from the lake and from the boat station and there is an excellent bakery in the same block in the adjacent'via'. The landlord is extremely kind and helpful and makes himself available should any need arise. He may be assured that we shall be returning quite soon again.

My husband and I have stayed many times in this cozy, quiet, comfortable apartment because the location affords us the opportunity to easily explore Lake Como, other interesting places in Lombardy and take day trips to Switzerland and the alps. We found our landlord friendly and incredibly helpful in every way. Whether our visits have been in the warmer months, when we have appreciated the air-conditioning, or on winter trips, when it's well-heated (and extra- charming with a log in the fireplace), we have many happy memories from our stays in this apartment.

The location of this lovely accommodation in this scenic village next to Villa d'Este is perfect. We enjoyed living like Italians in a fully updated apartment in a historic building. Cernobbio is an upscale area with a lively piazza, lovely walks, adventuresome hikes, gardens, delicious restaurants, boutiques, small markets, bakeries, and a charming boat dock just two minutes walk if you want to go to Como, Bellagio, or anyplace on the lake.
The apartment is fully equipped, and even has air conditioning. The owner (an artist) has exquisite taste, and has given attention to every detail and possible need. Comfortably and beautifully furnished, with a terrific kitchen; it is a very secure location in a very safe village.
We enjoyed everything about it including the church bells in the morning, and a glass of wine on the balcony in the evening. It is a great location for short car trips, hiking, and even for a night at the opera in Como. Our most recent stay will not be our last stay.
The owner is very helpful, knowledgable about everything to do, fluent in English, and has a big heart. My husband and I feel sure that you will love the apartment, the village, Italy, and the owner.Response from Hassi Sarmadi - 06/23/2011

We stayed for a week in this apartment; we were two couples's four people in total. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed over our stay. It was clean tidy and spacious. The location was outstanding, just off a little side street but close to everything we needed. A few metres up the road are a great patisserie with good coffee. And too many restaurants to choose from all in walking distance. We loved this area which is a great alternative to staying in Como, it is so beautiful and Como is only a quick boat trip our easy drive. The best part of course was that Hassi the owner; he made everything for us so easy. His service was simply outstanding!! The morning of our departure our Taxi failed to turn up, Which Hassi had kindly booked for us. He shut his shop grabbed his car and drove us all to the train station with our mountains of luggage. When we said good bye he felt more like an old friend than a landlord. We all can not wait for our next stay I highly recommend you try it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this appartment as it was in such a convenient location and had absolutely everything you need for a self catered holiday.
The owner was also so helpful and friendly.
We would highly recommend a stay at this appartment. The only negative in our opinion was the fact that the gas and electric costs were not included in the rental price but it was not very much extra at all that we had to pay. Great location, great appartment :) -
