This stunning apartment is brand-new and has been created with style, comfort, and luxury in mind. It is ideally located in the town of Cernobbio and is a stone's throw from Lake Como and enjoying all the lake has to offer.
The apartment has two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, plasma hdtv and wifi, the other with two twin beds which can be converted into a king. These rates include all cleaning at the end of your stay. Please note in the winter months there is an additional 50 euro per week charged to cover gas and electricity for heating. In the summer months air conditioning is available at an additional 50 euro per week. The typical changeover day is Saturday-arrival after 3pm.

We stayed with our 4 year old in this lovely, light and spacious apartment for two weeks and it was so relaxing I had to use my mobile to remind myself what day it was! The apartment is as good looking as the pictures and with a small boy the washing machine, with washing powder and softener all provided, was extremely useful. A small point: if you (or your kids) need your room to be dark in order to sleep then bring something to cover the large windows because the louvres on the shutters are fixed unlike other places we have stayed.
It is a great location, easy to get a bus or ferry into Como, or ferry up to other beautiful villages on the lake like Bellagio or to the cable car in argegno; and from a practical point of view it was easy to walk to the large supermarket or into the town for the lovely bakeries and coffee shops. If you like chocolate ice cream try the gelato fondente at "Ronchi Milano" in Como on Via Garibaldi - it's so dark it's almost black and the espresso was one of the best too. The lido was too cold this early in the season and although we braved it once even with high daytime temperatures June is too early to swim regularly (and it wasn't that clean when we were there).
Joy gave us loads of information about many of these things before we arrived and was extremely helpful, friendly and communicative as was Ruth who met us at the apartment and gave us a very useful and informative quick tour of the town.Response from Joy Bassini - 07/18/2012

Actually the shutters are not fixed and close completely so the rooms are pitch black. I am so sorry you did not realize this, we would have been happy to show you.

This is the perfect choice for a stay in Cernobbio. Beautifully furnished, the apartment was clean and ultra-modern. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and all of our needs were met. Everything was in pristine condition. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and just as described. Great location and within close walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owners Joy and her husband were very accommodating, friendly, and prompt with communication. We'll be back again. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. It is an ideal place. Very clean and comfortable. We explored the lake everyday and all it has to offer. We went boating, swimming, hiking, and visited other quaint towns. Bellagio is a must and eat at princess if you make it there. Our favorite romantic restaurant in Cernobbio was Il Gato Nero. The food is fantastic and supposedly it is frequented by George Clooney.

The apartment is beautiful and its location is great- a five minute walk to the gorgeous lake, the town, mall, and a huge supermarket. A perfect spot for a family vacation!

This very modern apartment is centrally located. We took the boat to Bellagio, Menaggio, and Como. We liked staying in Cernobbio for convenience...and will return! There are several great restaurants in the neighborhood. Our favorite was Il Giardino. Also enjoyed walks around the lake and in summertime the have free concerts many evenings on the water.
We also went to Switzerland as the international train station is also nearby. Don't miss Foxtown for discount designer shopping. About 15 minutes from the apartment. -
