A lovely 2 bedroom beach condo for rent in the prestigious Baan Ruen Rom Condominium. It is located in an idyllic setting a few kilometers north of Cha Am, close to Hotel de la Paix. This condo is absolute beach front built in 2006.
This 23 storey building offers many convenient facilities like the front office, room service, laundry, 24 hr security, swimming pool, fitness center and a sauna.
The condo is fully furnished. There is a living room, kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker,toaster and induction stove etc.

Attractions around Cha-Am:
Municipility, the main administrative area and old part of town is to the west of Petchkasem Road. Here you will find the Post Office, government buildings, police station and train station.There are a lively local fresh market, night market that is worth taking a look around. There are many beauty salons barbershops with local price and polyclinics with highly qualified doctor.
Nightlife is a small group of bars offering the standard hostess service and an increasing number of family-friendly establishments offering relaxed atmosphere and good food. Maruekatayawan Palace which is the old Royal summer residence. Its teak has been beautifully restored and is certainly worth a visit. It is located 8km south of Cha-Am. Constructed in 1923 by Rama VI, the palace is an excellent example of a raised-floor wooden palace.
Cha-Am Forest Park is shady relaxing place, and worth getting along to. It is popular for families and small groups. There is a thaifood restaurant with folk song live musick show in the evening. The park is located on the west side of Petchkasem Road about 1km south from the main Cha-Am intersection.
Golf courses, around Cha-Am you will find some of the best golf courses in Thailand or world class golf courses. Because they were built and designed to international standards. For example; Imperial Lake View Golf Club designed by Roger Packard, Palm Hills Golf Course & Country Club designed by Max Wexler and Springfield Royal Country Club designed by Jack Nicklaus. This condo is ideally located by the beach. The view from the balcony is great and very relaxing. Just walk downstairs and the beach is just below. The owner, Wongchan, is very helpful and quickly answers any message you leave her within hours. Check in was very easy and the staff at the condo was very helpful. Condo is clean and has all the amenities needed. As a business traveler who needed a reliable internet connection, there were no issues and connection speed was very good.
The beach is very quite and away from the other tourist areas so very ideal if you just want to relax. Also, this area is very suitable for young children. You will need a car or a motorbike to get around but there is a small mom & pop business near by (next to the restaurant) that will rent you a vehicle at a very affordable price.
I can't say enough good things about this condo and the owner. I will be back next year. -

I really enjoy 2 nights stay at your place. It's really worth my money and my holidays. I am very much enjoy staying here cause it feel like home. This place is very clean, neat and well equipped. You can relax and feel free here. Just only a step from the balcony and you will let your worry away by the sea view in front of you. My husband and my daughter both love this place and we are very lucky to find such a place here.
There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4-5 persons and also have 2 restrooms. Kitchen sink have the hot and cold water. It's very comfortable. There is a true cable network and a DVD player. If you are a movie lovers this will suites you. In the afternoon, you can lay down lazy at the swimming pool or get excited by the wave from the sea beach in just only 10 meters away.
As a person who was born in Thailand. I feel that I'm lucky to find a "second home" here and I can guarantee you that you'll find a true happiness and a real holiday here in this place and in Cha-am!!

I spent 90 days at Baan Ruen Rom last winter, arriving mid-December. I had a wonderful time in a comfortable apartment in the quiet area of Tambone just outside Cha-Am Beach. I very much enjoyed retiring to the quiet area after a day at the beach or a night in town avoiding the partying and noise usually associated with a vacation resort. The facilities made it confortable to stay in the area rather than go to the Cha-Am Beach every day. A large pool that was cleaned every morning with steps down to access several kilometers of sandy beach. There are several restaurants and small stores within walking distance. The stores provide the necessities for preparing breakfast and lunch. Transport can be hired from just outside the gate. I also found the location to be perfect for exploring the area around Cha-Am by bicycle with a number of attractions within reasonable distances.
Baan Ruen Rom is located about 3 km. north of Cha-Am Beach by taking the road through the fishing harbor or about 5 km. by taking the main access road. I arrived to find the apartment ready to move into in a condition just as explained by the owner. It was clean and equipped to expectations. Plenty of bed sheets, towels, and kitchen utensils adequate for light meals and even a full course dinner.
The location on the 4th floor facing northeasterly was perfect for enjoying the large balcony throughout the day. The sun could be observed rising in the morning from the balcony but as the temperature raised during the day the balcony and the panorama windows would be in the shade for a perfect temperature. I spent more time on the balcony than inside the apartment during my stay. I never used the a/C except sometimes to cool the rooms at night before going to bed.
24 hour security left the yard safe and parking for bikes and motorcycles was under cover (not that it mattered; we had 3 half days of rain during 3 months). The staff as per individual agreement handled cleaning and laundry.
