Bethesda, MDWeek in paradise!
Left on 05/05/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We just got back from a week in paradise at the Oceanside Tower Villa. We strongly agree with the owner's description of the house and previous reviewers. Only positive experiences to share! A few highlights of the house include:
1) Located in a quiet, yet convenient part of town: Situated ~15 minutes away from the airport, it is an easy drive to many tasty restaurants and the best beaches. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel during our stay and felt very safe taking walks/runs in the morning. It was a nice break from city sounds to fall asleep to the sound of crashing ocean waves each night.
2) Good layout to suit many type of travelers: Our group consisted of four adults and one toddler. The party of three stayed on the lower level (walk out basement) which has three bedrooms and one jack-n-jill bathroom. The other couple stayed in the master on the main floor which has an en-suite bathroom. Also on the main floor are a spacious kitchen and living room, screened-in porch, and an open porch. The open porch is every vacationers dream - breath-taking view, infinity pool, comfortable lounge chairs, hammock, outdoor dining area, grill, and stairs down to the ocean. The top level is a single room in the tower with a 360 view and an awesome breeze!
3) Save your suitcase room for some snacks (food is expensive on the island) and only pack the basics: The house has any kitchen gadget, linen, or beach toy you might need. There is even a washer and dryer as well as several clothes racks so only need to pack your beach wear (in general, attire on island is very casual) and toiletries. We particularly liked that the house has a crib to make travel with a toddler easy and the endless number of movie choices and books to keep us entertained in the evenings. The welcome guide had good recommendations to the island's best restaurants and beaches.

Portland, OregonSpectacular!
Left on 12/22/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We spent a week days at this location. We spent almost all day and night in and around the pool. The few times we strayed from the pool was to take a dip in the ocean which is 20 feet from the bottom of the back deck. After going deep sea fishing the BBQ was great for cooking up the grouper and jack tuna we caught.
The kitchen and main room are very large for entertaining. The house is located just outside of town in a quiet neighborhood (the only sound we heard was the ocean). The tower is fun to look out over the ocean. We honestly have no complaints- the owners, house and location were outstanding. -

Broomfield, COWonderful Stay!
Left on 12/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Wonderful Villa!! We were there a week in august. The pool was amazing and the accommodations were fantastic. There is ocean access and a short drive will get you to the popular beaches in the area. The Villa is in a quiet part of the island, yet it is close enough to access the activities offered on the island, groceries, shopping and beaches. I would certainly recommend this Villa for a family or a large group!

My wife and I just completed our third stay at Oceanside Tower Villa. We keep coming back to stay there because the villa has everything we need. Complete privacy with your own incredible infinity edge pool and the ocean just steps away. The kitchen is very well equipped for an evening at home or go out to restaurants just a 10 minute drive.
To stay anywhere else on the island would be a disappointment. -

Dallas, TXThe Perfect Honeymoon!
Left on 07/06/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My wife and I stayed at the Oceanside Tower for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything about the location was relaxing and romantic. It is off the beaten path so we did not have to deal with any unwanted hustle and bustle.
The full service kitchen was great and made making meals very easy. But when we felt like going out that was also an option. Most of the islands restaurants were only about a ten minute drive away. There is a nice sound system to listen to while lounging at the pool and also a catalog of movies for watching at night.
A short walk down to the ocean is also one of the many perks of Oceanside Tower. The crystal clear water is a sight to behold. My wife never really liked to swim in the ocean much, until we got to Turks.
Our stay at the Oceanside Tower was better than I could have ever imagined. It was a perfect trip to commemorate our wedding. I would rate it 10/10 and I would recommend anyone looking to go to Turks and Caicos to stay at Oceanside Tower. -

We arrived to a warm and helpful welcome at the airport. We picked up our jeep and off we went following the property manager to the villa.
Upon arrival the pictures cannot do it justice. The views are spectacular and we could not wait to start our vacation. We are avid kayakers so we brought our Innova inflatables and enjoyed being able to take off right from the cove.
The house is far enough away from the tourist area (Grace Bay) to make you feel so removed yet only 15-20 minutes by car to get just about anywhere.
The pool is much larger than pictures portray and we enjoyed lounging each afternoon after a busy day discussing what the next days adventure would be.
We kayaked every afternoon around the bend to Taylor Bay Beach which was spectacular and we would say it the best beach on the island.
There is a great restaurant "Las Brisas" 2 minutes from the house and the Quality Supermarket is a little more than 5 minutes from the house.
We swam in the ocean and snorkeled right from the house so for active water people this was a 10+ but if you are looking to just relax this is also a fantastic villa to just "chill" -

Spent a week on a 'second honeymoon' with my wife (left the kids at home!). If you're looking for a secluded getaway, this is it. The location is as private and serene as you'll find anywhere - essentially your own private island. If you need constant action and activities, this type of vacation may not be for you. If you wish to relax and reconnect, here's your chance. No trick photography - the villa and views are better than any camera can capture. The home is modern, clean and beautifully decorated for the island feel.
Pros:
1. Location - best described as perfect.
2. Value - a full home with private pool - can't duplicate at a resort.
3. Convenience - us dollars and english language made trip easy for us travellers.
Cons:
1. No 'action' - not a problem for us, but may be for some.
2. Hot, crowded airport - 90 minutes at customs with no a/C made the welcome a bit rough. Overcrowded waiting area upon departure. Probably avoidable if you travel on a non-Saturday.
3. Rental car required - budget $500 - just part of the price of privacy!
Summary - Escape the world and enjoy - you don't get many chances!! -

Fayetteville, NCAmazing private villa experience

My husband and I stayed at Oceanside Tower for our honeymoon in 2006 and went back for a "second honeymoon" in 2008 after he got back from a deployment with the Army. We had an amazing time both trips. This house is the perfect private getaway. It's the most relaxing place we've ever been. With the ocean access steps away, the view and the sounds are pure paradise. The house had everything we wanted and needed. We can't wait to go back!

Boston, MAGreat Privatte (and I mean PRIVATE) Villa
Left on 07/03/2009 for a stay in July 2008
I stayed at Oceanside Tower for a week and it was
amazing. It is right on the water and you have the
choice of swimming in the pool or stepping down to
the ocean. I especially loved lying outside by the
pool at night, listening to the waves, and looking
up at the stars--you can see thousands! I was there
with family members and we had 8 there comfortably.
We stocked up the kitchen by going to the nice big
grocery store on the main highway. We ate some
meals at home and grilled out, and we ate out at
some terrific restaurants. Conch fritters rule! I
especially liked the restaurant Las Brisas, which
is a very short drive (maybe 2 miles) away. A
beautiful view there. Other family members went
snorkeling and said it was the best snorkeling
they'd ever experienced. I lay out in a hammock and
read several books while enjoying the ocean breeze.
I can't wait to go back!

St. Paul, MNParadise!

After a long search for a villa that would accommodate six of us, we booked
with Oceanside Tower in Silly Creek. The price was right for us, and we liked
the idea of having a little distance from the busy resorts. In short, the villa
was wonderful. We flew in at night on Friday the 17, and the view in the
morning was the kind of image you'd expect from a postcard. Absolutely
breathtaking. The first night we ate at Las Brisas since it was just down the
road from the house. Delicious food and when we went back again, during
the day this time, the view of Chalk Sound was great. It was great to have a
restaurant we loved just down the road...needless to say we were frequent
visitors. The sunsets were especially gorgeous and the bedroom I was in
had views right out to the ocean. During the day we loved spending time
out on the back deck, which was huge and great for all 6 of us. The best
part was probably the pool, which we all spent the majority of our time in. It
was great having our own path down to the ocean right there as well.
Luckily, there was also a grill at the villa so we could stay in and cook as
well, another great money saver. The screened in porch off the side of the
villa was also nice to have at night when the bugs come out. The privacy
afforded by the villa was great. Silly Creek was incredibly quiet, and the
entire visit was rather stress-free. A/C in the bedrooms helped too. The
only problem we had was with snorkeling. Since most of the group had
never been before, we started out behind the villa but the visibility was
really bad. Later in the week we went to Coral Gardens but it was closed
with all the chairs chained up. We tried snorkeling there anyway but had the
same problem with visibility, not to mention some strong waves. When
booking, we went back and forth between resorts or villas and I'm definitely
glad we made the choice we did. The privacy made it feel like we were on
our own private island. Can't wait to get back!
