      The most amazing property

Left on 11/28/2011 for a stay in March 2010

Villa Seacliff is perched above a cliff overlooking a turquoise sea and the distant horizon is interrupted by only the occasional passing boat. Steps lead down to direct access to the warm waters of the Caribbean. What more could you ask for? Well quite a lot actually, amazing bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, enormous kitchen and television room, wrap around terraces with views from every lazy chair, the list is endless. This house delivers in every area, including a lovely pool. Perfection.
It is about a 15 min drive to the main hub of town life but we saw that as an advantage rather than a disadvantage, but it does make life peaceful and lazy. If that is what you are looking for then this house is amazing.

      Could not have been better!

Left on 10/23/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We stayed at his villa in October 2011 and had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular and the many decks and patios were much appreciated. We really enjoyed the deck by the water, where a small ladder leads into the water. At low tide, the water was only 3 feet high and one could walk on the sandy bottom quite far out, and even reach Taylor Bay walking in the water (a few minutes away). At high tide, the water was about 5 feet high. Just perfect. The water was very calm and the color spectacular. Taylor Bay was beautiful, had shallow and calm water, and we saw a total of ten people there the whole week. We loved the privacy of the house (far away from all the hotels and resorts), the water in front of the house, and Taylor Bay. And the house is greatly positioned for sunsets!

The house was very comfortable and well laid out. All bedrooms had king beds, were of equal size, four of the them had ocean views and the fifth one a bit of an ocean view. All had good aC and a private bathroom. The two possible downsides were the lack of a big table for a group of 8 people to eat together by the kitchen (but that was arranged immediately after we asked), and the lack of aC in the living room and dining room (which was fine given the big fans and the nice breeze). The wifi internet worked reliably.

We highly recommend eating at Las Brisas, a 2-3 min drive away. Delicious food, unpretentious, affordable, great view (they also do take-out). We ate that three times in a week. And by all means go on their two hour pontoon boat ride! Our party included an infant and a grandmother and all loved the boat ride on Chalk Sound. We stopped for some snorkeling, navigated around the small islands of Chalk Sound, and stopped to see some iguanas on one of the islands. The boat is super family friendly.

Finally, we highly recommend Chef alex Pelli if you would like someone to come at the house and cook for you. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp curry! Alex was super easy going, great to talk to if we wanted to, and he can cook! He cooked three dinners for us.

      Our Stay at Villa Seacliff

Left on 10/14/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Overall, we had a wonderful time. The diving was FANSASTIC - sharks, turtles, rays up close, even an octopus roaming across the ocean floor at 35 ft. \r\n\r\nComfortable home, tons on outdoor seating, designed for both small group and larger seating. Interior is not however designed for large group meals (both from kitchen ammenities and seating), and can get warm (in August) when the breezes aren\'t blowing or the house had been locked up for a while. Adequate lighting but it\'s often individual lamps rather than \'flip a switch\'. Watch for the doors not locking easily and therefore the alarm not engaging, and be sure to bring in your own water for drinking, cooking and brushing your teeth. \n\r\nAgain though - we had a great time.\r\n

The stunning photos on your web site do not do this house justice. I am not normally at a loss for words , but it exceeded my expectations and hopes significantly, .\r\n The service from the moment we arrived in Provo to the moment we left was exemplary, car rental organised and the house provisioned.\r\nMaid service was quiet and efficient and effective!\r\nSome of my visitors fully plan to rent this property in the future.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacation experience. James D\'Silva knows exactly what we are looking for in a vacation home. We will definitely use James and Luxury Retreats again. At the last minute we decided to have Chef Alex come and cook dinner one night. It was incredible. Jordie and Dinesh were very helpful in making it happen. Overall it was a great trip. Wish I was still there!

Our whole experience with Luxury Retreats was fantastic. Kelly Pearson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Turks & Caicos. She made my planning of the trip very easy and was there to guide me through everything. She was prompt and gave many different suggestions. All of which were fantastic and made our trip a very rememberable one! The villa was gorgeous and felt like paradise. Thank you so much!

I thought for the money we paid the kitchen could have been better stocked. We were always searching for good knives. We had steak several nights and there are no steak knives to speak of. We made do with what was there, but we shouldn't have had to. Also, if the house accommodates up to 14 people, one coffee maker is just not enough. Another issue was that housekeeping would show up unannounced. We were told they would come on Tues and Thurs and they were there on Mon and Wed. Also, a few kayaks would have been nice on the property to explore a little. The villa is beautiful though and it did look as presented on the website.
