Chalet Libellule a brand new Luxury Ski Chalet has a beautiful location in Argentiere in the Chamonix Valley. The chalet is surrounded by French pine forests with views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. The chalet offers complete ski in ski out to Les Grands Montets ski resort, the most renown ski area in the Chamonix Valley - quite a rare privilege.
Beautiful walking and cross country ski tracks are located just behind the accommodation. A 5 mins walk takes you into the village of Argentiere and Chamonix centre is 10 mins by car.
Ride the Aiguille du Midi cable car & ski the Valley Blanch or visit La Mer du Glace via the Montenvers Railway these are two of the many highlights of the Chamonix Valley.
Other ski resorts within the area include La Tour, La Flegere, Le Brevent, Les Houches and Courmayeur.

My stay here was simply out of this world! The chalet is like a palace, complete luxury and comfort with spectacular views from aspect within the chalet., you are surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery wherever you look! The hot tub under the stars was unforgettable. We had our baby accompany us on this trip and its so family friendly, providing for all our baby's needs (Buggy's, car seats, baby carriers!!!) they think of everything!
If you want a holiday you'll never forget, this is a must visit, I cannot fault any aspect of my stay here except that I wished I could have stayed longer, totally unforgettable, we'll be back for sure! Jon and Jenny were the best hosts and Blake's cooking is to die for! -

We spent a long weekend in the Chalet february 2013. When we arrived home, I booked a weekend for february 2014. Splended food, nice chalet, nice calm service, and lovely people working for the chalet.

Myself and my fiancé stayed here last september with our new five month old son. It was one of the most relaxing and adventure packed vacations we have experienced. The chalet itself couldn't be in a better location with the summer snow capped mont blanc range greeting us in the the royal blue sky every morning. The trails and walks and wonderful serenetiy that the mountains create is in itself worth the trip.
There are some lovely bars and restaurants a two minute walk from the chalet, and some wonderful little patisseries to get your morning coissant.
What made the trip was that the chalet was out of this world, each bedroon is finished to the highest standard and even though it is one of the larger chalets we have stayed in, it has a lovely cosy feel about it, like a home away from home.
I couldn't recommend a stay at Libellule with Marmotte Mountain highly eneough. The staff couldn't do eneough , or be more friendly.
Amazing location, incredible chalet , a stay that couldn't have been any better. -

Loved the informal and relaxed nature of the chalet. Cooking was superb. No fussy fine dining pretentious food, but excellent wholesome flavorsome grub in good proportions all washed down with some excellent wines. Chalet location superb and host and hostess could not have been more helpful in running us around the repsrt and adding to the ambiance of the chalet. Good job.

We stayed here with a group of friends for a long w/e ski trip - the location of this chalet is incredible - literally 20m's from les Grands Montets cable car - after skiing, this chalet is also great fun - outdoor hot tub with incredible Mont Blanc views, sauna, playing billiards, enjoying a wine and of course, the incredible food! Can't wait to return.

We have been coming to Chamonix for the last 7 years and have tried multiple chalets throughout the valley. I guess last year we found the best option: Libellule.
Located literally 20m away from Grand Montes gondola - the location is hard to beat.
We were two families (5 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 smaller kids) and the chalet was very accommodating.
The stuff was great, very service minded genuinely trying to make our stay as worry free as possible. The chef (Ivan) was nothing short of fantastic.
If you are looking for a big chalet - this is one of the best in Cham -

We satyed a 3 days week end at the Chalet libellule.
Fist of all, the position of the chalet is just unreal : a few meters walk for one on the greatest ski lifts in the world : Les Grands Montets.
Staying then at the chalet was just amazing. We were 12 people and 4 babies. The bedrooms are very high end made, mixing modern and authentic style. The common living zones are great : everyone could enjoy quiet time, relax on home cinema room, wide windows, great wide balcony etc..
You can always mix private time and share great moments with your mates !
The after ski time is one of the most exciting experience of the chalet : jacuzzi just in front of mountain sights, or sauna and relax bath.
The welcome by the team was very nice and efficiant
This was an amazing week end, a great mountain lifestyle, we will come back for sure ! -

A group of us stayed at Chalet Libellule for a "team-building weekend" from Geneva. We were most impressed with the latest addition to Jon's collection of luxury chalets.
It's location was perfect, right next to Grand Montets chairlifts - can only imagine how perfect it would be for the winter skiing! Perfect proximity to some great hikes along the argentiere glacier / Le Tour and Petit Balcons. Our favourite part was chilling out in the hot tub after a long day hiking, enjoying with the spectacular views of the Mont Blanc range.
The work that has gone into making this chalet a "high end" chalet is obvious. From the beautiful marbled bathrooms to the grand leather ( extremely comfortable ) couches, this is definitely a step ahead of the other luxury chalets in argentiere / Chamonix we have used in the past.
Was a pleasure dealing with friendly Jon and the Marmotte Mountain team! Will be back to visit soon.
