Apartment les Bleuets is a 3 bedroom apartment to sleep 6 people, one of 8 apartments in the les bleuets building. Based in the Planchamp area of Champagny, a quiet area of tourist residences, hotels and private residences. It is an ideal location only 100 metres away from the main ski lift in Champagny and just 150 metres away from the village centre where you will find the majority of shops, bars and restaurants.

We purchased the apartment to use for our family ski holidays so it has been decorated and equipped to a very good standard. Most of ou...r regular and previous customers have commented on how 'homely' it feels.

Our apartment has a massive private terrace which has stunning views of the surronding mountains and is ideal for the hot summer days. It is equipped with sun loungers, dining table, picnic bench and in Summer has some lovely plants in bloom

The apartment is based on 2 floors and comprises

Ground floor

•Entrance hallway.

•Twin bedroom 1.

•Separate WC.

•Bathroom with bath and shower.

•Living room with seating and dining table for 6.

•Kitchenette with fridge/freezer, combi oven, 4 ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, kettle, cafetiere and good quality cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

•Access to the large, private sun terrace.

First floor

•Twin bedroom 2.

•Twin bedroom 3.

The twin beds can be converted to double beds in two of the bedrooms if required,

Equipment

The apartment comes fully equipped including:-

•LCD TV with combined DVD player.

•Hifi with ipod docking console, cd player and radio.

•Wifi is available via a 3G unit (small charge depending on usage)

•A selection of CDs, games and books.

•Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, clothes dryers.

All quilts and pillows with protective covers are provided. You can either provide your own linen and towels or we can provide them at an extra cost. We provide cleaning equipment and materials if you wish to clean after your stay or we can clean for you, again at extra cost.

We can also provide other services such as welcome packs, shopping, equipment hire, lift pass purchase, book lessons and will be available if you need any assistance or advise.

There is free parking available outside the apartment building and free covered parking in the village centre.

There is a large ski locker on the ground floor where you can safely store all your equipment.

For those who prefer not to cook, meals can be taken at the highly regarded hotel les Glieres which is just across from the apartment building.Read more

Additional Location Information

Champagny is an authentic mountain village, originally a farming village, that has been tastefully developed into a modern Alpine resort ideal for your winter or summer holiday.

For Winter sports lovers Champagny is geographically right in the heart of the biggest concentration of World class ski resorts on the planet. It is part of the La Plagne ski area which offers over 225kms of prepared pistes. It was recently linked to Les Arcs to create the massive Paradiski area offering over 415kms of prepared pistes as well as some great off-piste routes.

Nearby is Courchevel, part of the massive 3 valleys ski area, offering a further 600kms of prepared pistes. The Espace Killy resorts of Tignes and Val d'Isere, offering a further 300kms of pistes, are within easy travelling distance. All of these resorts can be reached easily as well as a few other smaller lesser known areas offering a variety of terrains for all level of skiers from beginners to experts.

In Summer we are at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, offering over 500kms of marked trails for hikers and nature lovers as well as numerous other activities to keep the whole family occupied. You could try climbing, cycling, mountain biking, adveture parks, canoeing, white water rafting, paragliding, quad biking, golf, horse riding and fishing. Within the village facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, skateboard park, football pitch and table tennis.

For those after a more leisurely holiday the climate in Summer is fantastic with hot suny days but cooler at night so you can truly enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.

Despite all of these attractions it seems to be a well guarded secret and is not frequented by the major tour operators, a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by the independent traveller.
