Beachfront Apartment located in Agii Apostoli, 4,5km west from Chania.
The apartment is located in a private land of 3.200sq.m., 4.5km west of the city of Chania, island of Crete. It has a direct private access to the beach, to the only part remaining without umbrellas and chairs (we call it free beach). It is on 1st floor, 110 sq.m. , with verandas all around, with fine view from every side north and west to the sea, east to Agii Apostoli, and south to Lefka Ori mountain plus our beautifull large trees.
OUR RATES ARE FOR THE ENTIRE APARTMENT AND NOT FOR PERSON.

Always wanted to make your visit more pleasant.Excellent local knowledge. Great people, nice location Definetely want to go visit this place again and spend some time with the owners. Vaggelis is a character but for sure Despina is a sweet heart. Keep up guys and hope to come visit you soon.

Brilliant hospitality from Despina and Vangelis. Everything you need is taken care of from beach toys for children to WiFi Internet. Location of the apartment is just on the beach. Good local places to eat are Siroccos next door and Hotel ammos a 2 min walk. Find the service a tad slow at amos but food was lovely.

The apartment is very well situated, with the beach at the end of the garden, and the center Chania at 5 minutes driving. There is a very good restaurant that Vangelis advised us at 3 minutes walking, which became our second place to have dinner. The main national road is also at 5 minutes driving, which makes it very easy to visit the distant sites in Crete.
The apartment is spacious and had everything we expected. It was very pleasant to spend time outside on the balcony with the sea view. The beds are very good. Despina and Vangelis were very careful to all possible details so that we had a good time. We really felt like their guests rather than simple customers.
Everything was perfect, we really hope to come back in the future. -

I feel bad I haven't written this review last year. But there have been lots of things happening since we got back from our holiday in Crete last year, like moving house etc.
Anyway we had a great time there and this apartment was as fantastic as photos and reviews here in Tripadvisor website. One of the things we were most impressed with was how thoughtful and caring the owner couple were. We've never stayed in any other places where lovely homemade food along with other food package was waiting for us on our arrival evening. It was very much appreciated, as we arrived at the apartment around 10pm UK time - 8pm Greek time - and were too tired to go out for dinner. The bottle of olive oil we got then was the best olive oil ever and we had to find out where to buy olive oil like that from for our souvenir, which we did. We received a lot of useful info about where to eat out and to visit. We loved visiting the nearby hotel amos for dinner very much, especially, because it was really child friendly and our 2 year old daughter loved playing with other children there.
It was my first visit - fifth time for my husband - to Greece and I think I made a good choice with staying at this apartment. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and kept very clean by regular visits from a cleaning lady.
We have been recommending this place to our friends and family, and hope we will go back there soon. We felt so bad for all those friendly people there who were suffering from the consequences of bad economy there, and hope it gets better by the time we return.

My partner and I can only endorse the glowing reviews that have already been put to the owners, Evangelos and Despina.
The apartment is well located, next to the beach, and nearby to a number of restaurants. Whilst a car would be useful, we did not have one, and yet we managed to get to Hania every day, to Gramvousa, Elafonissos, Samaria Gorge, Hora Sfakion and Loutro within the space of 7 days without any problem at all, as there is a bus every 10 minutes (05:30 - 23:30) only 5 minutes walk away, and Taxi's are only 6 Euros to the City Centre. There are two or three large supermarkets nearby too.
The apartment is very nicely decorated, and well maintained. The bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are comfortable and perfect for a young couple or family. It is in a really quiet residential area, so there is plenty of peace and quiet at night. It is really lovely on the terrace in the evening where you can have a meal and listen to the waves only a few metres away under candlelight.
The owners are wonderful people. They made our stay so comfortable, providing us with details of how to get to Hania, then collecting us in person from the bus station. They regularly replaced towels, and the apartment was cleaned whilst we were out. The owners also provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations in Hania, and with bus timetables and costs of how to get to a range of the wonderful sites this part of the island has to offer. In particular a visit to the Samaria Gorge and Loutro comes highly recommended.
The owners were so welcoming to us both and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Indeed if we return to Crete (which we would love to do) we will without hesitation stay at the apartment again. It really is that good. -

We loved staying here! The owners were wonderful and generous--beautiful beach right outside the door, beautiful sunsets, clean & comfortable. We stayed with our young daughter and having the extra room made the trip so much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend. Only a short drive to downtown Chania & convenient to the National road for travel to other area beaches.

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in Crete and our stay at apartment Despina was excellent. The weather was superb, the beach is steps away and the accomodation was first rate. We spent a lot of our time on the wrap around deck with the sound of the Med in the background. Our rooms were spacious and clean and the aC was welcomed. You are within walking distance to restaurants and amenities or you can take the city bus to Chania for 1 euro.
The beach is steps away. You have access to loungers and umbrellas for your use. the apartment has a kitchen. We used it for breakfast and some evening meals. The windows look out onto the beach.
Vangelis and his wife are lovely people. They are helpful and laid back. The apartment is cleaned every few days.
We loved every minute of our holiday and would return without hesitation!

We loved staying at apartment despina. Vangelis and Despina were warm and welcoming hosts (staying up till past 11 pm to welcome us to the apartment when we arrived late) and were incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect--short drive or long walk to old town Chania and the beach at the apartment exceeded our expectations (plus they had beach chairs, umbrella and lovely outdoor patio). Vangelis gave us terrific recommendations for beaches and restaurants, nearly all of which we took, and all of which were truly great. Thank you!

Anyone looking for a spotlessly clean and spacious 2 bedroom apartment located just 50 metres from a golden sandy beach and within 5 minutes walking distance from a bus stop will find this place fits the bill.
There is a frequent bus service every 30 minutes from aghi apostoli into Chania Town and the location is most suitable for those families wishing to get away from the more highly active nearby touristy areas. There are a number of excellent restaurants and tavernas situated within a short walking distance. Also, there are a number of nearby supermarkets for those interested in self catering.
We highly recommend this apartment for those wishing to relax in peaceful,spacious and pleasant surroundings. -

We were introduced to Vangelis and Despina while looking for a nice hotel in Crete to stay with our 3 kids (6.5, 2,5 and 6 months). The hotel owner suggested checking with them since he didn't have vacancy. We couldn't be luckier. Although this was a really nice hotel the apartment was all we needed and much more.
Apartment Despina located at a nice and quiet location only few meters from an amazing sandy beach with a private parking and a wide verandas open in every direction. The apartment is decorated while giving attention to all the small details and the view is amazing. The apartment is fully equipped with everything required for a family, which makes you feel as comfortable as if you were in your own convenient home- micro, washing machine, coffee machine, juice extractor, oven (we actually baked cakes through our vacation) and more.
But this is only half of the deal. What made it perfect were our 2 hosts. You don't find people like Vangelis and Despina very often. Beside a very warm welcome and an amazing hospitality, they were there to help us and assist at every hour of the day. They recommended great locations to travel to and every day ensured that everything is ok and meets our needs. They don't run a renting business. They made it their goal to present the great vacation experience.
Although it's not our first time in Greece, this one was the best. We were there for 12 amazing day and, if we didn't have to return, we would have stayed even more. We will definitely return.

What can we say? This apartment is in a perfect location, a very short stroll from the lovely beach. Swimming and snorkeling every day, breakfast on the balcony in the sunshine, life doesn't get much better than this. Close enough to restaurants if you don't want to cook for yourselves, but well equipped if you do. Vangelis and Despina were very welcoming and full of great tips about where to go and what to see and do. A short drive into Hania, where the old town's narrow streets are fascinating to explore, and within easy reach of some beautiful parts of western Crete. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this - though we are loathe to do so in case it becomes so popular that we can't book a return visit!

Everything about our accomodations was nothing short of first class. Ultra-clean, spacious and very comfortable, the apartment is located in a strictly residential area of Aggi Apostoli, off the main road, at the end of a "dead-end" street with the Mediterranean Sea as your back yard (literally)! You hear nothing but the waves on the beach (both day & night). Street noise is unheard of.
The apartment is comprised of two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms both with showers and one of which has a tub/shower combination (water pressure that will pin you to the wall....a really nice surprise!), big living room, flat-screen TVs, big fully equipped kitchen (even has a washing machine for clothes...NICE!). Air-conditioning in every room, free wireless internet access, fresh linen every 3 days, complimentary beach towels and beach chairs, ... what more can I say!
The apartment is spotless & very tastefully decorated trough-out...a visual pleasure actually.
Our most heart-felt thanks to Vaggeli & Despina for their most gracious hospitality. They will do whatever it takes to make your stay a pleasure.

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Apartment Despina. From the moment we arrived to a kitchen stocked with bread, olive oil, apricots, coffee and a bottle of wine, we knew were someplace special. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, immaculate, well air-conditioned, and contained everything that we needed. While it was tempting to stay on the gorgeous beach sitting in the comfortable beach chairs that were provided or lounge on the wrap-around porch with views of the sea, we also wanted to explore as much of Crete as possible and Vangelis and Despina were very helpful in recommending places for us to visit. They were remarkable hosts who provided tremendous hospitality. Our only regret about our stay is that we didn't stay longer. Three days was not enough to enjoy all of the amentities of Apartment Despina and Crete. We highly recommend Apartment Despina.

Apartment Despina is a FANTASTIC rental especially perfect for families.
It's location is very good just outside beautiful Chania and by a nice
beach at Bay of Chania.
The apartment is big at 110 m2 (app 1200 sq
feet) and it has a great wrap-around terrace. It is almost new and is
very smartly furnished and well designed.
The best part of this rental
is that the owners, Despina & Vangelis are extremely hospital and go out
of their way to make you feel at home. They gave great advice on tours
to take; restaurants to visit etc.
And they even brought us great local
foods and wine.
Our family of 5 (3 kids at 15, 14 and 8) had an amazing
stay at Apartment Despina, and we can recommend it VERY highly to
others.

We found this holiday stay completely by accident. Travelling with four teenagers, this was a fantastic find. It was very clean and the owners were very friendly. Ocean views, and sounds, just a few steps to the most wonderful beach I've ever been on (and I've been on alot). Spacious, privacy, beautifully decorated, in suite laundry, games. After 3 weeks travelling in Greece, this was definately one of our favourite places and we would go back in a heartbeat.
