Four stylish and elegant stone villas on a superb location, right on a quiet long beach.Each villa has its private gardens, pool and pool terrace, parking and stone built BBQ.

The blend of cretan architecture and tastefully styled interiors with the perfectly designed landscaping and exterior spaces on such a unique location, offer a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

The impressive front terraces and lawned gardens host a stone built covered BBQ area with woodburning oven , comfortable dining and seating areas and a large pool with jacuzzi/massage area. From here, the sea is just a stones’ throw away…

The interior of each... villa is set on three floors.

Entrance floor comprises living room with comfortable sofas, separate dinning room and well equipped kitchen.

On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom and a lovely terrace with amazing views to the sea and the peninsular Ravdouha.

On the lower floor, there is one more bedroom, a play room and one more bathroom.

The unspoilt beach in front of the villa is clean and strewn with Almirikia – a type of tree – which grow right by the sand and pebbles.

Guests can feel the soft touch of the breeze, listen to the primordial sounds of nature and immerse themselves in the relaxing sound of the sea. They can enjoy the serenity, the privacy, the Mediterranean sun and the seaside which remains virgin and untouched.

However the place of residence does not exclude entertainment. The well known Platanias, the center of Chania’s night life for locals and vacationers caters to all tastes. Kolymbari is a small, quiet fishing village, 23 km west of Chania at the foot of Crete’s Rodopou peninsula. It combines the feel of the rugged and untamed peninsula with majestic mountainous backdrops and panoramic sea views.
The locals are primarily farmers and stockbreeders cultivating olive and citrus trees, grapevines and vegetables. As such, the local produce is olive oil, honey, wine, meat and dairy products. Along the coast, fishermen provide fresh fish and tourism has, over the last years, flourished.
Whether you are taking a couple’s break, a family holiday or combining one of these with some business, Kolymbari would work well for you if you are looking for a quiet time, to relax on the beach and to explore Crete.
Within this small village you can find a small selection for your everyday essentials; pharmacy, ATM, souvenir shops, bakery, supermarket, bus stop, post office and more. Small fish taverns and cafes are clustered along the beautiful stretch of beach.
Though night-life does not feature highly here it can be found either in the nearby coastal village of Platanias or in Chania centre and Old Venetian Town.
Surrounded by natural beauty, you can take in this solitary place by taking relaxing walks along the beach, having the time to read a book, reflect, and rejuvenate – tranquility at its best.
For the days where you wish to be adventurous and explore you can easily access several of the ‘must-see’ monasteries, beaches and gorges such as the famous 13th Century Greek Orthodox Gonia Monastery (used today as a cemetery), Elafonisos beach, Falassarna Beach, the gorge of Samaria and the Balos lagoon and Gramvousa islet.
Kolymbari village and beach provide you with the opportunity to fill your days and please your soul.
The small town of Tavronitis is just three kilometers from the villas. It is a small shopping area and it includes super markets, cafeterias, restaurants and a pharmacy. The river tavronitis flows by and finds its way to the sea. Here to there are small seaside tavernas that offer Greek cuisine at reasonable prices.

  Dear ariadne, thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this striking villa with the sea being just a breath away: a gorgeous, spacious home, the perfect base for relaxing by the pool, or take long walks along the beach early morning and evening when the sunset colours are amazing!
  We made some unforgettable day trips to the Falassarna beach nearby, the Balos sea lagoon with its emerald and turquoise waters! We also enjoyed some cultural outings, and evening dinners in the old Venetian town of Chania. Our memories are as vivid as the blues of your seas!
