The villa is situated on its own, gently slopping, one-acre land, tucked among olive trees with open west view towards a low hill with olive and grapes groves and the north coast.

Although only 5 km away from Hania town it offers an away from it all peace, within walking distance from Kalamaki small harbor and its fishing boats and small beach. From there, one can walk east to Kalamaki resort which boasts a number of sheltered sandy beaches, mini markets, as well as seafront tavernas along the gently shelving beach. Stalos is 2 km west with its long sandy beach and numerous tourists’ shops and eating-places.

You can use the vi...lla as a base to explore ancient, rural and modern Crete, or simply to relax by the pool and allow the place’s magic, restore your energy.

But then it’s only 10 min drive to Hania, (a town that stays alive even in winter), where you can enjoy a rich night life, good food, shops and market places.Read more

  Superb Family Reunion

  We rented this villa for a well needed family reunion in august 2012.
  What a great choice we made! Great location as a base to explore beautiful Western Crete.
  The villa is great and very spacious. Lovely sized bedrooms on the main and upper levels, and a fabulous large children's room that could sleep as many as 5 on the lower level. It's very nicely laid out, with a roomy open-plan design that flowed nicely from floor to floor. The Greek sunlight flooded through the windows and views of the countryside hills and sea were amazing.
  With many decks and out door spaces, each bedroom had it's our own out door space! We really enjoyed cooking at home though the nearby towns are just minutes away in a car.
  However, most impressive and memorable were Katerina and Costas, who were the best hosts ever and made our stay very memorable and comfortable. They are great people and have a lovely family.
  I do recommend renting a car and getting good directions or a GPS if you arriving at night, as its easy to miss their little street on the hill.
