      fabulous

Left on 08/31/2010 for a stay in August 2010

we loved it, and will be back:) We have stayed in other places on the Vineyard, but this was our favorite, due to it's location of privacy. The landlord's were very flexible, understanding and easy to deal with, so our arrival & departure were a breeze. The views and ocean were beautiful. We loved the fact that we could drive from the house to the beach, and not have to lug all our stuff on our shoulders. Thanks again!

      The best vacation in years!

Left on 10/23/2009 for a stay in July 2009

The service we received before, during and after our stay was perfect. Tom's Neck Farm was just the right spot for our family and we look forward to returning in the future. The house is charming and very well maintained. The kitchen is as well stocked as mine at home which was great. We loved being on Chappy. I have spent many summers on Martha's Vineyard but never on Chappy and it was wonderful. Taking the ferry regularly was not a problem. I have a special place in my heart for the Vineyard so just being there was the best. I know my family had a fabulous time as well and are looking forward to returning. Hopefully there will be cell service, internet and perhaps better TV reception for my family. The one thing that we all really disliked even though we were told about it was the problem with the ticks. Something should really be done about them! They won't keep us away however...

A relaxing stay in a place I've come to love

Left on 05/07/2009 for a stay in May 2008

The group I rent with comes from all over the United States fom Vermont to Florida to Washington state. We enjoy the serenity. The history of Toms neck Farm is something not to be overlooked by the visitor. The house is filled with momentos and rememberances of times gone by from the 1700's to the present. I spot something new to catch my eye every year. Relaxing at your own private stretch of beach after a long day is priceless.Although the weather has been variable over the many years I've been a guest here, the fishing at the end of May can be outstanding. Always a great time and highly recomended to both the tourist and sportsman.

Historical and Charming House in Beautiful Setting

Left on 05/07/2009 for a stay in September 2007

For a quiet and natural setting for your family vacation, you couldn't want more than you'll find here. Grassy fields and typical Martha's Vineyard gardens surround you, and the beach is a short walk away down a natural trail. The beach itself is a protected inlet that is perfect for small children, and very relaxing for parents. The house has many interesting historical features which fascinated kids and adults alike. It's definitely a bit rustic, but very comfortable as well. And Chappaquiddick has some of the most beautiful natural settings on M.V. All around a perfect family getaway.

Hmmmm..."rustic"? We would tend to call it a modernized antique. Not much difference we guess! All we know is that we wish we had more homes like it in equally delightful settings!
