Newly renovated with everything needed including off street parking , washer / dryer and full kitchen.Available monthly at 100 per night. Central heating and air , wireless Internet and cable. Walk to all downtown. Historic Wraggboro neighborhood.

      Charming and character in Charleston

      Originally planned as a getaway with a friend, I ended up making a trip to Charleston solo. One disappointment of traveling alone was that I didn't get to share this delightful retreat with anyone else! I loved staying in the carriage house...it was a quiet retreat with it's own private courtyard/garden. A few notes: it's a historic building which means delightful little quirks and character. You can walk to all of the historic district; for some, the walk might be a bit on the long side, so I recommend learning about Charleston's pedicabs--it's a 5 minute pedicab ride from almost anywhere in the historic distric.

      Great, charming place with lots of character. Very nice patio with 2 lounge chairs and a dining table for 4 people.
      Inside the house is very well decorated with a mixture of Ikea and cottage charm! The kitchen is pretty much a one man show but very well appointed with everything and the kitchen sink.
      The bedrooms-2 twins downstairs, perfect for kids and a queen upstairs with large closet and large bathroom.
      I would say the only down side to the house is the close proximity to a busy street, but you can get passed that with good company and a glass of wine.

      Charleston serenity and luxury

      The carriage house exceeded my wildest dreams. Character, charm, comfort blend into a distinctive yet homey haven. Everything from kitchen equipment to linens left no need unmet. The hosts responded prommptly to questions and offered warmth as well as attention to detail. The neighborhood is ideal, the "real" Charleston a few blocks from the tourists' throngs, yet close enough to walk or bike everywhere. The deck and garden patio offered sun or shade all day, the fountain bringing a calm to any moment. The enormoous orange tree shades the deck, a fantasy come true sitting in the shade of an amazing tree. I have been coming to Charleston for 40 years and have never loved a place as much as this one.

      Relaxing and Romantic Vacation.

      It was a truly a wonderful vacation! My husband and I loved staying at the carriage house. The garden is beautiful, a great place to relax in the morning with coffee! The house itself is decorated beautifully and the kitchen was wonderful..We both look forward to staying there next year!
