We have 2 units available. The Executive Suite was designed and built to serve as Mothers-in-law quarters. With its own private entrance, it is nestled among 30 year old evergreens that tower 30 feet above you. This is a beautifully appointed apartment and was decorated with the executive in mind. The 1000 square foot floor plan offers a queen-size bed in both the master bedroom and the guest bedroom. There is also a Raised (22” high) Downy Queen Airbed available for additional sleeping space. The Jacuzzi Hot Tub (seasonal) is outside in a screened in porch for your bug free enjoyment.

Our family of four and my mother-in-law spent a relaxing weekend in late August in Charlevoix. We rented the nice apartment at Abbey's which is a very short drive from downtown. The apartment is not only affordable, it's also very clean, homey, comfortable, well-decorated and equiped with everything we needed. (We brought our own coffee and filter, but it turned out that this was not necessary). Our hosts, Abbey and Richard, are really nice and caring, and always willing to help. We enjoyed our stay at Abbey's very much and will definitely come back in the future.

Abbey's provides a great place to stay just outside of Charlevoix. This is a great place to stay for people who prefer the "home" feel over the "hotel / motel" feel. Another positive is the price of the stay. This property was about $100 cheaper than other places we looked. For me it was a win-win.

This was our first experience renting a vacation rental and we were not disappointed!!! The owners were very accommodating and most helpful. We're brought three extra guests and there was plenty of room. Our young children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We made memories of a lifetime the week we spent in Charleviox! If we ever go back, we are sure to stay at abbey's Hideaway!!

We stayed here for a long Memorial Day Weekend and were visitors from Indiana/Ohio. We stayed there because we were up there for a wedding at Castle Farms. We chose to stay at this place because it offered quietness and relaxation and we got just that! The owners were up for us, even when we were arriving late at night! It was nice because we got stuck in traffic and they were willing to stay up as late as possible to deliver the key and give us a brief orientation. We had a nice parking spot waiting for us. You walk down this gravel stairs to the condo. When you open the door, there is a screened-in porch with the hot-tub ready to go! Then when you walk inside it is the living room and kitchen. There is one bathroom and two queen sized beds in their respective rooms. If we had an issue, Richard would come down and help us out! We really enjoyed the hot tub and how nice it was to have that available there! We stayed with one other couple and they real enjoyed it as well! It isn't far from Charlevoix (a 5-7 min drive). You are also close to Petoskey (15-20 min). It was also cheaper to stay here then the hotels during town especially since we split with another couple. We went to both cities and enjoyed them very much! It was a great stay and I highly suggest staying here on your next visit to Charlevoix!

Our accommodations were exactly as listed, and even better. Quiet, and surrounded by beautiful pine trees, deer, and ambiance. Close enough to town to visit at any given moment, but far enough away to be secluded. Perfect in every way.

In addition to having our own private entrance (two entrances actually, there is door leading into the front room as well as an entrance into the master bedroom) we also had a screened in porch with a very private jacuzzi - which was especially nice in the cool of the evening! Our accommodations were very spacious with plenty of room to relax. We watched deer walk through the pine trees and could be downtown shopping in ten minutes! It was the best of both worlds and we will be going back.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as though we were at home. The rental was clean and homey with all the needs of our own home. It was so great to be able to prepare breakfast or other meals at the rental instead of having to go out for every meal. This saved us so much money and was much more relaxing. The surrounding area was gorgeous. Everything a trip to Northern Michigan should be. Great lakes, great shopping, great outdoor activists, great restaurants and great hosts to help us with any questions we had.

Abbey's is clean, well appointed and lovely. We felt like we were staying someplace very special.
Close enough to downtown Charlevoix to visit whenever we wanted, far enough away that we could escape the crowds and have some truly beautiful "up north" moments.
This is such great value compared to any other hotel in the area.
