This country cottage is just too sweet! Located off of one of our most scenic roads - Garth Road - the property has lovely gardens and a porch from which to rock in your chair and enjoy them. The cottage is perfect for a needed get-away weekend, or convenient if you want to attend an event at UVa or go to the Foxfield Horse Races. Enjoy the quiet in your sumptuous KING bedroom. The living room has a gas fireplace, and there is a full eat-in kitchen. Shady area out back too.

Our stay at Cedar Hill was lovely, the cottage was spotless, the breakfast was a nice addition, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We loved the tranquility of the surrounding woods, and the hosts were friendly and made themselves available without being intrusive. They gave us a great recommendation for dinner! Overall we were very happy with our stay and would certainly come back again if we visited the Charlottesville area.

Wow!! The first thing I said when opening the door to Cedar Hill Cottage! Enchanting decor we found both warm and welcoming!! The king size bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The Breakfast Supplies were very generous and included homemade, world famous, coffee cake! There is even a small path through the woods at the back of the cottage. We saw a small family of deer every morning as we sipped our coffee on the front porch. Full size washer and dryer meant no dirty clothes to take home.

This cottage is one of a kind, beautifully furnished in the Virginia country style. Immaculate, more amenities than one can use, luxurious king bed, full kitchen well-stocked, high speed internet, cable TV, fireplace, comfortable chairs/sofa, quality linens. The cottage was beautiful! Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice...eggs to cook, juice, etc. and a very nice coffee cake. We did not get an opportunity to meet the hosts, but would definitely like to stay there again! And as always, Guesthouses came through at the last minute with great accommodations. Thanks very much.

My wife and I spent two nights here after our wedding. The cottage is bigger than it looks from the outside, is very comfortable, and exudes simplicity while still allowing for the necessary amenities. Great for a weekend or extended weekend stay.

We loved the cottage. The bed was so comfortable that on our way home we stopped and purchased a down bed Topper and down pillows. The sitting room was also wonderful. Very cozy. We also made much use of the kitchen, and ate in the dining room. One night, we took a hike through the woods behind the cottage. Frank and Wallis were very hospitable and helpful in directing us to shopping, activities, and groceries. They were like having our own personal concierge service. The property was also located in a premier area that was isolated, yet conveniently close to anything we needed. We have already booked our next stay there.
