Chalet Rose was built in 2006. The chalet is 210m2 and offers adult beds for 16 persons. chalet Rose is located opposite skilift Linga in Chatel (Portes du Soleil) which gives you the opportunity for a ski-out every morning (200 m to skilift). You can extend the capacity to 18 persons, using the children beds, which are available in the chalet. Furthermore, for the children there is a box and a baby-chair. The free WIFI and fireplace makes your stay perfect.

With 5 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 quadruple room , the chalet is ideal for 1 or more families to have a wonderful ski holiday. Two bedrooms have their own balcony. The... chalet has 4 bathrooms and 6 WC’s. It has a garage for your car and outside is another space for 2 – 3 additional cars.

The chalet is of course fitted with modern conveniences. The lovely spacious living room has a fire place. The chalet is situated on 600m2 own ground, has a balcony and a wonderful view to the mountains.

Main features:

Sous-sol: Via the garage you enter the heated ‘Laverie’ where the washing machine and dryer are, and where there is room for buggys and bikes. The front door gives access to the hall with the stairs to the rez-de-chaussee and also to the ‘Salle des Jeux’ with a bunk bed, double bed and a double sofa bed. As the name of the room says, the room is very suitable for the children to sleep and play. Via the de ‘Salles de Jeux’ you enter a hall with gives access to a bathroom with a shower, and a separate WC. The hall is also the entrance to the ‘Cave’ which has a bunk bed and is used as a bedroom for two persons.

Rez-de-Chaussee: Via the stairs from the Sous-Sol you enter the hall to the very spacious ‘Salon’, the living room with fire place and large open kitchen, which is fitted with modern conveniences. In the hal is a separate WC. Via the hall you enter a bedroom with double bed. This bedroom has its own bathroom with full sized bath, shower and WC.

1st floor: Via the stairs from the ‘Salon’ you enter the hall on the first floor. Here are 4 extra bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower and a WC, the other has a full sized bath and separate WC. 3 bedroom have double beds, 1 has twin beds.Read more

Chatel is located in the wonderful Portes du Soleil. Les Portes du Soleil are situated in the northern Alpes, between the Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva. The weather is both in the winter as well as in the summer perfect. In winter, Les Portes du Soleil is certain of snow, in summer it is sunny, but not too hot. You can enjoy hiking or cycling through the lovely Alpes, swimming in the lakes or the swimming pool nearby, or sightseeing Chatel and other wonderful villages nearby.

In winter Chalet Rose is ideal for skiing with several families or a group of friends

The chalet is located near some beautiful hiking and cycling tracks. Also the centre of Chatel can be reached by foot in half an hour or within a few minutes by car or the local bus. The distance to the centre is 2.2 km.

Lake Geneva with many lakside places like Evian, Thonon Les Bains, Amphion and Yvoire (the catle village) is only on a 45 minutes drive distance, via a beautiful road beside the river Dranse

Les Portes du Soleil are the ideal place to enjoy your holiday with family or friends. Taste the local farm products, enjoy the splendid mountain views, learn to recognise the mountain flowers. For the ones who search more action in summer, test one of many activities being offered in the villages: from parapente to mountain karting, the Fantasticable or canyoning.

The whole year through, the mountains offer you splendid views and hidden treasuries, which you will dicover during hikes, forest walks looking for toad stools or chamois. It is a wonderful place to take a few days off, enjoy nature and get a fresh start. Or have a wonderful week of skiing

  We've enjoyed our stay in Chalet Rose very much! We stayed there with 4 families: 8 adults and 8 kids
  Since the Chalet is quite big, each family still had it's privacy and could retreat for a bit of rest or join the rest of the gang in the living or near the fireplace.
  The wifi internet connection was very convenient, for keeping in touch with parents and (a bit) work.
  
  We've enjoyed several lunches and apres-ski beers on the large terrace/balcony.
  
  We fetched fresh croissants and bread each morning from the village, which is about 8 minutes away.
  
  We're planning to go back to Chalet Rose this winter again! Looking forward to it!
