Chatham is located in the center of the Cape, 45 miles from Provincetown at the end, 45 miles from Falmouth at the beginning, with ocean on 3 sides (the Atlantic and Nantucket Sound). The town also has many salt water and freshwater ponds, great for fishing, swimming, and boating. Nantucket is a accessible for even one day trips using the high speed ferry from Harwich Point.
Chatham is an elegant New England seaside resort featuring an active community year around. Primary industries include tourism and tourism. There is in active artist community as well offering galleries, theaters, art courses and writer series.
Our property is centrally located in Chatham, short walk to swimming pond - White Pond, 1.5 miles to downtown Chatham, 2.5 miles to Lighthouse or Harding's beach.

We stayed at the pondside home for 2 wonderful weeks. Danielle and Bob were terrific hosts, providing information, resources, and suggestions for our stay. The house was fully equipped including comfortable beds, great showers, a complete kitchen, and a marvelous deck. We have been vacationing on the cape for 40 years, and this was the most perfect place we have ever rented. Amenities including deluxe towels, Bose radio, flat screen tv, seeds for the birds, and internet access made for a terrific combination of daily delights. The view of the pond from the deck made each morning a treat. The house was convenient to town, beaches, and nature trails. Quiet neighborhood, quiet road that was part of the bike trail, yet close to shops for groceries and easy access to restaurants. We would certainly stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the home. The layout of the house as well as the furnishings were superb for the two of us. It was so quiet we were thoroughly rested when we woke up every day. We took a kayak trip on the pond which was both fun and gorgeous-we used their kayaks. Danielle and Bob were the perfect hosts responding promptly to our requests. We will return there again to "our home away from home."

We where pleasantly escorted to the home by the owners and was shown around and how to easily find what we needed. The home was perfect for our family (husband, myself, and 2 adult children). Loved the open floor plan, quiet setting, near bike trail, outdoor shower convenience, nice to have the air-conditioning on those real hot nights and driveway spacious for our 21' boat as well as two cars. Loved everything about the home. If I had to say what I liked least would only be that it would be nice if there was a small airconditioner in the other two bedrooms as well if someone had difficulty sleeping on those hot evenings of summer. Otherwise, we had a wonderful vacation and wouldn't think twice about renting again.

The house was abundantly equipped. Bob and Danielle could not have been more helpful without being one of the party! We particularly enjoyed the location being next door to a delightful swimming pond whilst just far enough outside of Chatham centre for it to be really quiet. The house worked really well for us and our three teenagers and we have many happy memories of our week's stay.
