What a find! We stayed here with 2 small children and had an excellent time. The property was clean and had all the amenities you need. It is close to downtown and has parking. Miki was great to work with. The decor/art work was a major plus. We plan to return next year.

We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Chattanooga.
The owners greeted us on our arrival, chatted , explained and then disappeared and allowing us to settle in.
Very helpful with two problems we encountered (ours not theirs)and then disappeared again.
The accommodation is warm, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
Just a short walk away from the Electric Shuttle, which we used daily.
There is nothing to fault. The home is fully equipped to allow for self catering with great laundry facilities.
Hope to time our next visit with warmer weather so some time can be spent watching the world go by on the porch. -

A friend of mine and I met here for a girl's getaway weekend. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and modern. The fun decor and cheerful art makes this a very happy space -- perfect for great conversations and relaxing. Miki and Tom equipped the place so well, we didn't need to bring anything. There were even brochures of things to do in the area along with restaraunt reccomendations, several of which were in walking distance. The location was good too. It seemed like we were never more than a few minutes away from everything we wanted to do.

Can't say enough good things about this amazing place. Miki and Tom are the perfect discreet hosts. The rental is beautifully and creatively decorated, very comfortable, and is located in an exciting neighborhood which is within easy walking and bikiing of downtown attractions. The beds were like heaven and the kitchen nicer than my own. And the art gallery throughout was just the final touch. Come, stay! You won't be disappointed.

This residence is like living in an art gallery except one can relax with most of the comforts of home. Well appointed kitchen, great location and the art in each room will lift your spirit. Owner's of the rental live above the property and are available to answer questions and give suggestions but will also stay out of the way. Great vacation rental/

My husband & I with my parents from australia stayed at the artist's Residence in October 2009 for 3 days. The house is absolutely wonderful to stay at! There was so much to look at, the beautiful artwork was everywhere you turned. The house was very cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Tom & Miki are wonderful hosts and were nice enough to let my parents celebrate their first Halloween by trick or treating the neighbourhood kids on the fronch porch. The location of the house is perfect, everything was in walking distance. We had a lovely time in Chattanooga!

We're moving to Chattanooga and building a home in the area, and we needed a special place to work on our plans, take a break from the process, and to relax and unwind. We found a beautiful home-away-from-home in the "Artist's Residence", and we made two dear friends in Tom and Miki. They treated us like family, made sure we were doing okay, and focused on making our stay comfortable and as stress-free as possible. They introduced us to a few of the many attractions in Chattanooga, and reassured us that we were going to love living here. If you seek a warm and cozy place to stay, and if you love meeting hosts who go out of their way to make sure that you're enjoying your visit, then look no farther than Miki and Tom's "Artist's Residence"!

Loved the house! Great hosts! So much fun staying in such vibrant surroundings. My husband and I along with a few friends were in town to run the Stumpjump 50k on Signal Mtn. We arrived a couple of days early to enjoy the downtown area. Lots of things to do and great places to eat (all within walking distance). Thanks!!
