Description
In a mediavel village on the border of Portugal with Spain, Quinta de Santa Isabel is a very old construction on the side of the castle that defended the border. The village and the house is a testimony of the early ages of the independence of Portugal from the XII to the XIV century, where several Kings used to pass. The name of the farm derives from the Queen Isabel from Aragon that entered in Portugal by Santo Estevao to married King Diniz in 1282.
The house is situated on the limit of the village, facing a mountain of wild pine trees and an old vyneyard, where our guest are free to walk in a quiet contact with rustic nature.
