The Cove is on the east coast of Koh Samui, 1.5 km north of Chaweng main town and equidistant from Cheong Mon.
The Cove commands the north end of a secluded beach, bordering onto a forested headland, with a sweeping view of Matlang Island and the majestic curve of Chaweng Bay.
For convenience, Frangipani Cove's location is hard to beat. 15 minutes after collecting your bags, you'll be sitting in the pool, enjoying the warm breeze and a cold cocktail, marvelling at the wide ocean views.

Dream Holiday
We stayed at The Cove for a week to celebrate my mother's 70th Birthday and it exceeded every expectation. It was like staying in our own private resort!
There were 16 family members ranging in ages from 6 to 72 and we all had an amazing time, making the most of the fabulous pool and surrounding living areas as well as enjoying our own private space in the beautiful bedroom villas. The bunk room was perfect for the younger children and the nanny room next to gave the teenagers their own space.
Opal, the amazing Villa Manager, and her staff saw to our every need, including organising massages and outings, mixing our cocktails, booking yoga in the villa gym and orchestrating a wonderful celebration for the 70th Birthday Dinner, complete with fire works, lanterns and beautiful orchids decoration the dining room. Nothing was too much trouble!
Every morning we planned the evening meal with Opal and Chef - the food was so wonderful that we ate at the Villa every evening as well as some lunches. Luckily we had the steps to keep us fit!
There was plenty of sporting equipment for us to use at the villa, including kayaks and pool toys. The outdoor cinema was a hit too!
It was such a relaxing and special holiday for us all, we would love to return.

Outstanding - Made our wedding day perfect
We spent 4 nights at The Cove in July 2011 and part of this stay included having our wedding ceremoney and reception here. I cannot speak highly enough of the setting, grounds, quality and wonderful service from Opal and her team. Our close family and friends stayed here with us and The Cove catered for everybody including the Kids.
The catering was also outstanding with us detailing what we would like for dinner with Opal overseeing it suggesting additions or alternatives to help make it even better. The chef was fabulous and all of the food he cooked was delicious including the crab, king prawns, different curries, stir fries and many more.
On the wedding day, all of our guests commented on the venue and many spoke of what a great place it would be to come and meet up to share an event together as many of us live in different parts of the world.
The beach is private and sandy although a little course with a few rocks in the shorline on view. However this does not spoil the appeal of the venue although there are better places to swim in other areas. We found ourselves staying by the infinity pool and didn't need to go anywhere else.
I could write so much more on The Cove but quite simply you must go. It delivers and made our wedding perfect.
Thank you to all of the staff at The Cove and I will return one day again.

This is Heaven
If there is Heaven on Earth, This is the place. We came to spend a week long vacation and also celebrate our Friends bachelors party so we had booked the whole Villa. Everything was just perfect. The pool and the lobby area is the best part of this villa. Opal is the sweetest host one can ever meet. She makes sure your stay is comfortable and she can prepare any dish according to your taste buds.Rooms are very clean and everytime we came back we found a different decor done on our beds.
The location is a bit off from the bars and the restaurants but Steven was kind enough to give us his car to roam around in the city. Overall this place has the best quality and luxury to the most. Would definately recommend and come back again.

This is more than a holiday its an event!
I stayed at the Cove with a good group of friends. The place looked great on the internet but nothing quite prepares you for the ''Wow" factor as you enter the property and descend through each level. I've done high end in the Maldives and in other parts of asia but this is a unique experience. The property is finished to perfection, there is so much space, every level is more beautiful then the next and it has a 23m Pool which looks out across the ocean - which is your private beach. Chill out music on the speakers, talking with friends, going for a dip, time for a drink and the fantastic food that comes with having amazing Thai chefs and helpers to look after you. We spent a lot of time at the property because it had everything you could want - beautiful large bedrooms, amazing communal areas (multiple) and even an outdoor cinema! We also had a great time indulging in some of the local activities, including an extremely high quality yoga studio (5 minutes away), a few special spa treatments at some of the top end hotels (20 mins) and some local thai foot massages (5 minutes). If you want the space and freedom to enjoy a great holiday with friends this is the destination and its worth the flight from wherever in the world you may be coming from!

Our family holiday at the Cove was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Opal and her team and they were especially wonderful with the children. The staff, the service, the location and facilities all deserve 6 stars. We'll be back !
