The lodge is set out perfectly and decorated beautifully. The tub was fab too the perfect way to relax. Thankyou so so much Brian and Caroline. We also had treatments at the Webbington with Sue Gale...the best massage i have ever ever had...wish i lived closer :-(.

Great but spoilt by the not so Private Hot Tub
Left on 12/23/2012 for a stay in December 2012
As the title says, the Lodge was great but our stay was spoilt by our more Public than Private Hot Tub.
We stayed in the Bath & West Lodge and were massively disappointed by the location of our Tub. It over looked the main Court Yard plus we also had the added disadvantage of being between two lodges of which the guests were friends. They spent alot of time walking between the Lodges and we seemed to be their main attraction. This made us feel uncomfortable in the Hot Tub. Their constant movements between the two Lodges became so frequent it was impossible to relax so we left the Tub and didnt enter it again for the rest of our stay. This spoilt our stay massively.
The Lodge itself was lovely. The bed was amazing, Lovely shower room with towels provided. The kitchen was well equiped and the open plan living area was adequate.
I would recommend Tor Farm but not The Bath & West Lodge, unless of course you dont mind being on show whikst in your not so private tub. -

Joined our friends for a weekend in the Meadow View cabin, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Place is very well located for travelling to the Gorge, to Wookey Hole, Glastonbury & Wells.
Cabin's are done to an extremely high standard, there were tvs in every room, and the decor was lovely inside. Hot tub was really really good.
Would recommend anyone to stay here - we're thinking of returning next year -

Loved this cottage. The week we stayed was very wet but still loved our time in Tor Farm. The cottage was really comfortable and the hot tub was just bliss. The heated outdoor pool was great for our daughter and the views were fabulous. I also loved the feather matress toppers on the kingsize bed, wow, it was like sleeping on a cloud :) would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

the location of tor farm is excellent for cheddar gorge and is in beautiful countryside with litle villages all around. the lodges are great with every facility you will need for your stay and more . comfy beds fluffy towels tvs in every room. great kitchen with every pot and pan you will need (took us ages to fin d the utensils thou and they were cleverly hidden in a pull out drawer . the main bathroom had a jaccuzi bath but the highlight is the private hot tub on the verandah where you can sit and look overt fields of cows and goats. if there was one thing to complain about it was the barbecues . the brick frame was built but there was no grids to cook on . they tell you to buy dispoable ones From them or take your own) . but i have to say overall it was fantastic!! really relaxing and i am sure we will be returning very soon .

Tor Farm is a great base for touring the area, the cottages are excellently equiped with everything you could need and the hot tub was a stroke of genius, we spent late evenings in it relaxing after hard days sightseeing - top place and very friendly welcoming people
