This lovely apartment, set over two floors is in the city of Chester and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The Watergate Apartment is situated in the city of Chester and is set over two floors. The apartment sleeps four people and has two double bedrooms, as well as a family shower room. The apartment has a living area with a kitchen area, a dining area and a sitting area with a feature marble fireplace. To the outside of this apartment, there is a limited parking space for one car and shared use of a sun terrace with garden furniture. The Watergate Apartment is in a perfect location for exploring the delights of Chester and the many attra...ctions within the North West of England and North Wales.

Amenities: Gas central heating with electric fire in living area. Electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, TV with Sky, DVD, CD/music system. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot. Limited parking space for one car only. Shared use of large west facing sun terrace with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs, restaurants and numerous sights 1 minute walk.

Region: Chester is a beautiful and historic border city. Walk its ancient walls, discover the Roman remains and experience 21st Century shopping in the unique half-timbered medieval ‘Rows’ at the city’s heart. Cruise the river, visit the cathedral or explore Chester Zoo – the possibilities are endless.

Town: Chester is a city where old and new sits side by side in perfect harmony. Evident throughout the city are the remains of the Roman walls and buildings that make Chester such a unique place to visit. Many of these buildings are now chic restaurants or designer shops and there are some very characterful pubs to be found in and along the city walls. The nightlife in Chester is vibrant and friendly, much of tending to centre on the local jazz and comedy club. The famous Gateway Theatre has a regular season of plays and has had many noteworthy actors pass through its doors. Beyond Chester is a countryside made up of rolling hills and spectacular coastlines. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Apartment in Roman Chester

  This apartment on Watergate St. row is ideally situated close to buses and transport to the rail station. It is also close to the Tourist Information Centre, Chester Cathedral and shopping areas on the rows. The tourist centre provides excellent access to sightseeing tours and train times. The walking tours were great too! We enjoyed the Ghost tour and the Roman tour - the guides were knowledgeable and great sources of information. Watergate St. also has many excellent and reasonable restaurants to choose from.
  
  The apartment itself allows you to be truly self sufficient and save a little money by providing your own meals. The beds and linen were immaculate. We were lucky enough to have sunny days so were able to sit on the balcony for some of our meals. Being within the city walls means that you are close to everything. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to explore Cheshire and North Wales.
