The owners or their agents cannot accept liabiliy for any accidents that may occur both inside or outside the premises,so we recommend that guests include personal accident insurance with their travel arrangements.
All rates are quoted for up to a maximum of 12 guests. Additional guests are charged a rate of 700 THB p/day. There are no additional charges for children under 7 yrs of age

If you are looking to experience Chiang Mai without the hassle of the city this is for you. Our family spent a week here and then a week in the owner's country villa. It was just the right combination to enjoy the things the city had to offer, but also to ensure a relaxing stay. The guide on site helped us plan out various excursions and seemed eager to have us enjoy our time in Thailand. The staff was friendly and considerate to our needs. The excellent chef cooked us a delightful selection of Thai foods, accommodated the children, and seemed to know exactly what we wanted by the time we moved on to the country. Thank you so much for making my 40th birthday special!

We stayed here for 5 days in august. The service was amazing. We had airport transfers complementary from the villa. We opted for the live in chefs (Non and Nom) and we were spoilt by them. Our favourites were Banana pancakes, Tom Yum Goong, Roast Pork, basically they were all great!!. We enjoyed the private swimming pool. A bigger lap pool is available in the common complex including the gym. The area of the estate was very tidy, quiet and safe as it had round the clock security. The pictures that you see in the website are as it is. All facilities were in great condition, rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Internet was included and satellite TV was included as well. We also opted to get the driver and luxury van at 2400 Baht per day. This was great value and Man, the driver was of great help. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!

Right from Nong and Jay's airport transfer, the place was fantastic.
We were taken to the local supermarket - where local expats do their shopping - and were able to get everything we needed from peanut butter for the kids to beer and wine for the adults.
The house is superb. Three kingsized bedrooms upstairs all with ensuites. Also an open foyer area which could be a bedroom if needed. Then another queen sized bedroom downstairs with a bathroom attached. It would be perfect for 4 couples but with kids, you can easily fit more as the Master suite fits a King bed, a queen bed and a single bed easily.
The dining room, loungeroom, kitchen and private pool area are excellent. There is also a huge 6 lane pool in the gated community only 3 minutes walk or you can ride the bicycles provided if you want. There was a bmx perfect for our 6 year old.
The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil you need but there is also the opportunity to have chefs or even the driver cook up a meal for you. Food in Chiang Mai is Sooo cheap to eat out - we really only had breakfast at the house. There are left over tea and coffee from other guests just in case you miss buying these essentials.
The great thing about the house is that you have the opportunity to go do everything with the car or driver - elephants, tigers, wats, zip lining, golf, etc - but if you want to, you can just relax at home, read a book, sit around the pool and unwind. There is a lot to do in Chiang Mai but most people get home from a holiday and then need a holiday. Noel's house is the perfect escape. There are no tourists around and it's a lovely place to take a break with friends or family groups. (We went with our kids, aged 6 and 5 and another family.)

A group of ten old friends gathered in Chiang Mai to celebrate an important milestone birthday for one of who now calls Thailand home. the first of us began arriving from Bangkok and Phnom Penh, the following day meant arrivals from UK, Belgium and Sydney. Quite an international affair. Nung, our villa's faithful driver, was there to meet each group and bring them to the Villa. The Villa is a large modern and very comfortable house with huge entertaining areas, full kitchen, swimming pool, 5 massive double bedrooms each with ensuite amenites, aircond, comfortable beds (with plenty of spare single beds). With our group all being on different timezones the villa had plenty of room for people to have their own space. The resident staff prepared delicious Thai food on demand and cleaning the house like magic. The staff are lovely people and typical of the northern charm of Muang Chiang Mai. We arranged a day trip to Doi Suthep the revered Thai temple on the mountain overlooking the city, took the van into town and got tuk tuk's home. The pool and gardens are very private and was great to cool off and chill out and catchup on gossip, news and old times. Happy Birthday Steve!

There were 14 members in our group, aged from 5 years to 80 years. Noel was there to greet us at the airport, send us back on our return and with his crew to attend to all our needs. We felt like Royalty. The house is stunning with a lovely pool, koi pond, good sized rooms,very well furnished, fully equipped kitchen, clean and charming. Located in a gated environment, so security and safety issues are not compromised. Lovely walking paths and a lake, clubhouse with tennis, gym and a larger pool that all add to the excellent value for money for this beautiful Villa. The crew was simply amazing and we became a family during our 10 night stay in both the Mountain and Town Villas.

I stayed here for just over 1 week with my wife, 4 of her thai family and my brother, his wife and their 3 children. I normally stay in hotels or guest house when visiting Thailand but with such a large group i chose to stay at Noel Hunts villa in Chiang Mai. It was a great, secure place to stay. There was plenty of room for everyone and Noel and his staff were always on hand if you needed them. A real big plus with this property for us was the free use of the 7 seater car . To rent a car like this would normally cost you around 1500bht (AU$50) a day at the least. This was a direct saving for us as i was going to hire a car for my stay to transport everyone around to all the attractions.
The only thing that wasn't to my liking was the bed i was in but that is a personal preference and in no way reflected on the rest of the property.
All of what you read from the other reviews is true. The place is great.
Noel is a great guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him. He is there if you need him but he also leaves you to your holiday if thats what you want. He and his staff are very honest and trustworthy people who respect you as their client.
He sent a nice email wishing me and my family a great christmas and new year and that is what reminded me to write a review for his property.
If i knew Noel was such a great golfer before i came over i would have brought my clubs and got a few lessons from him. I need them!
I can highly recommend this property to families and small to large groups.

This villa was excellent from the start. Having lived in asia for 4 years I was skeptical of booking something over the web. Upon arrival my 3 friends and I were greeted with perfect Thai hospitality. Arriving close to midnight there was food to be had and we were then off to bed to think about the great golf shots we were going to hit (well maybe that didn't happen but we can't blame the villa for that).
We stayed in the villa from Friday until Monday...a great duration if you want to get away with your friends and have a proper boys weekend. All expectations were exceeded, Noel the owner was the best, and the staff were ever so attentive. From the driver through to the cook and help we could not have envisioned more. Great value, great times, highly recommended!

What a wonderful place to stay and relax.
Everything run smoothly from the Pickup at the airport by our host (Mr Noel Hunt) and Tiny to arriving at the gated community where the villa is situated amonst beautiful gardens and similar homes.
We had asked for a Chef to be made available to us for 3 days but once we had tasted our first meal,we had all made up our minds to keep them for the full week.
Chewn was his name and his lovely wife catered to all our needs with a smile.
Nothing was to much for them.
The communual pool, gym and Tennis court was well utilised by all us.
The villa pool itself was brilliant place to relax.
Cant speak highly enough about the people and Chiang Mai itself.
Cant wait to return at some point

The first week of our three week holiday in Thailand was spent at this villa and was the best possible start to the trip. The owner met us at the airport and was very friendly and great at telling us all about the villa and the bits and pieces to do locally. We took up the option of the chef and ate like kings for the whole week - for a very reasonable cost. If he ever wants to come to England I have a spare room for him! The villa is clean & tidy; all rooms are very spacious with en-suite. We had lots of fun in the pool and the larger pool and gym on the complex were great. I can't praise this villa enough and I know we would love to go back tomorrow!

After spending 3 weeks travelling around Thailand with the family, staying in this Chiang Mai villa was the highlight of our holiday. The villa housed 7 of us with ample room and the pool/deck area allowed for a very relaxing stay. We opted to have the chefs and maids stay on, and they provided us with an excellent stay. The house was spotless every day and the food cooked by the chefs was to die for!
If we return to Thailand, I can guarantee we will be looking to stay in this villa.

We felt like we'd "won the lottery", best describes the perfect holiday we spent in Thailand in December 2010. Staying our first week at Baan Suay Jan our every comfort was provided in the quality furnishings, bedding and staff. Ta was the most wonderful companion, expertly driving us to all the sites we wanted to see, and helping us appreciate Thai culture. The location is ideal, easy access to main roads and tourist attractions and shopping. The home is luxurious and spacious and in a very safe environment. Our second week at Doi Luang Private Reserve was more enchanting than we could have imagined. The setting and architecture was breathtaking, and again the comforts and safety were of the highest quality. The staff were warm, helpful, friendly and generous. Our excursions from this location were easily accessed in the vehicle provided. Relaxing on the patio with the view of the mountains was calming and inspiring, always captivating.
Noel and his family were accommodating beyond our expectations. It was a holiday our family will never forget, and look forward to a return vacation.

Excellent arrival service, transfer from airport to Baan Suay Jan, Shown around the house, and Garden/Swimming pool.
The Home was very Private, spacious and comfortable.
The Location suited ourselves approx 7/8 Km from the Night Markets and Shopping Centre, nice to return & relax at the House. we played Three of the finest Golf Courses in the area. Arranged for us by Mr Hunt.
The good thing was the Golf Courses were all within 15/30 minutes from the House. I had a most pleasant & enjoyable Stay for 6 Days, then moved North to Chiang Dao for 5 Days to Mr Hunts other House in the Mountains, This was Holiday Luxury split between the City and the Mountains.
