Appleton, WIUtterly charming
Left on 04/14/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This was exactly what we were looking for, a lovely, relaxing, spacious space where everything has been thought of. Beautifully decorated with interesting elements throughout the apartment. We hope to be back and make this our Chicago home away-from-home. Just loved it.
Check in is clear, keys are color coded, we could use the garage, but ended up always parking right in front of the house. Very convenient and lovely neighborhood, where we enjoyed lovely walks. -

This apartment is so lovely and spotless. Everything was in good working order. We were very comfortable here, we just loved it.
We came with another couple for a long weekend. They agree that we will be coming back to this same apartment next year.
We also loved the neighborhood. We could've spent our entire weekend just exploring andersonville. We ate in the bars and restaurants on Clark Street and went the short distance to Broadway for some great Chinese food. -

Left on 02/22/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My husband and I used to live in andersonville, so we were so excited to see this apartment right in the heart of our old stomping grounds! We stayed here with another couple for a weekend in the beginning of February and I have to say, it couldn't be nicer! Paul is great to work with, very responsive and accommodating. The decor is incredibly tasteful and the apartment has everything you need, including a garage parking spot (even though we easily found street parking in front.) Comfortable beds, nice folks who live in the other units, and the apartment is very clean...which is important to me! You can walk to everything in andersonville, one of my favorite Chicago neighborhoods. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

HawaiiA Great Stay in Chicago
Left on 02/10/2013 for a stay in January 2013
For our first stay in Chicago and our first experience with winter, the andersonville apartment couldn't have been more accommodating! Paul was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had about the place, it's location and adjusted to our early check-in.
The andersonville apartment made us feel right at home! Having access to the laundry facility was a lifesaver especially with a weight limit on our luggage and having to layer since we chose to visit Chicago in the dead of winter. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed a few home cooked meals there. The apartment itself was nicely decorated with a ton of Chicago memorabilia which we loved! Also a nice touch was a basket full of menus, maps, little tourist brochures which came in handy for us deciding on dinner! I'll admit, I'm was not too keen on apartment living but after spending two weeks in the andersonville apartment, I could see myself living in one.
The location of the apartment I first felt was a bit too north at first, but after actually being there, it's a short 20 minutes or so to downtown by the CTa Red Line. The CTa bus stops a mere half a block away. Or just enjoy the walk to the station, which my husband and I frequently has done. It's only a short 10 minute walk in a gorgeous neighborhood! Clark Street has a ton of places to eat! Or go to North Broadway (near Berwyn Station) and to the south lies a great deal of delicious Vietnamese restaurants! If you're like us and only using public transportation, catch a taxi from O'Hare to andersonville. It's not that expensive. The trip cost about $28-$30 with two people and luggage.
We would not hesitate to stay here again! We've already made such great memories here, it would be wonderful to make new ones in the future! -

DerbyDelightful Residence
Left on 10/31/2012 for a stay in October 2012
A perfect place to stay in north Chicago, if you prefer a homely feel over bland hotel chains. Located in a nice residential area close to amenities in andersonville. An easy drive from O'Hare, Winona has all the home comforts anyone could want for a short stay. The booking process is very well organised and comprehensive instructions given. Just be careful with the on street parking in Chicago, the authorities are very quick to issue 'violation tickets' . No doubt this a good money making exercise. Winona has a garage, which I would recommend you use, particularly if you do not use your car for a few days. Will not hesitate to stay again when we are back in Chicago.

Bridgend, South WalesGreat neighbourhood
Left on 10/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Our primary reason for visiting Chicago from our home in South Wales was to attend the Ryder cup at Medinah but we were able to do so many other things from this ideal base in andersonville. The Winona residence is a very comfortable 3 bed apartment in which myself and my 2 grown up daughters felt very at home. Andersonville is a very pleasant area with a great collection of shops and restaurants (we were spoilt for choice). Connection to the city is very easy as the apartment is only a short walk from the main Redline station at Berwyn. The lakeshore is also quite close (about 1 mile) with nice shore paths for walking, cycling or jogging. If needed there is ample parking space at the rear of the residence in the large double garage but a car is not really required. Overall a thoroughly excellent experience.

Los AngelesA great place to stay for a visit to Chicago!
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed at the Winona residence for a week with our one year old twins, and it was great! The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was awesome. There was a playground two blocks from the apartment, which the twins loved! We went there everyday and met lots of friendly neighbors. There is also a lot of other stuff to do in the neighborhood as far as restaurants and bars go, and it was very convenient to the bus or the red line. When we first got to the apartment, there was an issue with the water temperature. We contacted Paul, and he came out right away to fix the problem. He even stayed quiet, because the twins were sleeping at the time!! We will definitely stay here again if we make another trip to Chicago. What a treat!

Left on 08/01/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This was a fantastic apartment. Located in a quiet, tree lined neighborhood, it is only two blocks from andersonville. You can eat at a different restaurant each night for a week and not be disappointed. It was only a 15 minute drive to downtown. The apartment was clean, spacious and well stocked. Central air was nice and cool. You won't be lacking any comforts of home at this location. I would highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed this home and the neighborhood. Everything you need is in walking distance. Paul was friendly and very accommodating. I had a family of 6 which included me and my husband and 4 children and we had enough room to relax and spend time together after our long days out. We went to Six Flags, toured downtown Chicago, and the beaches.

Overall a great week. Charming and cozy apartment that felt like a home. The neighborhood was fabulous and safe. Quaint tree lined street. Extremely easy access to CTa buses and Red Line 'L'. Apartment was roomy. The only thing it lacked was a VCR player, and a few staple kitchen supplies (cheese grater, scissors, colander) No problems encountered. Paul delivered everything as promised!

My family -- husband, daughter, son, and daughter-in-law found this apartment ideal for our Chicago vacation. The location was in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of good restaurants, a gym, grocery stores, a playground and within quick access of Chicago attractions. The apartment was incredibly clean and well laid-out, offering plenty of room for 5 adults. Our 16-month old grandtwins loved the sunroom.

Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This brownstone apartment was everything it was cracked up to be! From the moment my husband and I and our two daughters (19 and 22) arrived, we felt amazingly comfortable. It was a great size for us to be together and still be able to have our own space if desired. The andersonville neighborhood is wonderfully diversified and unique. We felt totally comfortable walking around the area and found many great local shops. It was really great not to only see big box stores and/or chain stores everywhere you looked. Mass transit options made it easy for us to get where we wanted to go and we also utilized the garage for our vehicle. We would stay at this apartment again in a heartbeat. Many thanks, Paul.

From the first phone conversation with the owner, Paul, to when we locked up, the experience was great.
The apartment is spacious and beautiful. Had we stayed longer, we would have used the patio, played the games and read the books available. We appreciated the basic cooking supplies (and coffee!) that were included. We were comfortable and felt safe and right at home.
The location was convenient, and Paul was so helpful in listing area attractions, transportation means, shops, etc. We will definitely stay here again. I am not exaggerating with the five-star rating I gave. -

Left on 01/19/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We enjoyed our time in Chicago and this rental was a clean and convenient place to stay. Nice size bedrooms and living space with everything we needed. Quiet area but still close enough to businesses that we could walk. Garage was handy for parking off the street in the winter but parking was not really a problem on the street either. Internet and cable TV were great and owner was very helpful when we needed a question answered.

Anacortes, WAChristmas in andersonville
Left on 01/11/2012 for a stay in December 2011
I stayed here for a week at Christmas and really enjoyed it. The neighborhood is really wonderful and convenient. The home has three bedrooms, each with a large bed. A lot of attention to detail is obvious in the decoration. I especially liked the large eat-in kitchen and the heated sun porch. Wifi was flawless, which is very important to me. One improvement would be higher wattage lamps, as they were dim for winter reading. The owner is very responsive and helpful with questions. I look forward to renting here in the future.
