The townhome and location is just wonderful if you are wanting to get a taste of Chicago. My husband and I lived there for my 1st 2 years in Chicago after moving from California. My husband, being from Chicago and also a broker/owner of a real estate company chose the neighborhood and townhome specifically because he and now I, think this is the best neighborhood in the city! It is quaint and both the building and neighborhood are quiet but in close proximity to downtown. Wells Street has everything from restaurants to famous comedy clubs to boutique shopping. The 'El' train is just down the street and is a convenient way to get around the city. Oh, also you would be in a historic part of the city so it is just beautiful with the classic architecture and tree-lined streets.
I could go on and on...
This is our personal home that we travel to throughout the year and offer it to guests when we are not there which is unlike most rentals in the city. There is a personal element that will add to your comfort during your stay.

Rented out this townhouse with a group of 5 other friends (6 adults in total) for the Chicago Marathon, 5 days and nights. A great location inbetween two Subway stops and for us participants it was perfect since we didn't have to take a cab or drive anywhere especially on race day. There is a nice bar scene as well nearby, perfect since we were sore and just wanted to dive into a couple of cold beers. Along with a super market and Walgreens. The townhouse itself is great, two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. Couldn't ask for more space. There were more than enough linens for the 6 of us along with a full stacked kitchen, coffee maker and all. It was very convenient, clean, and spacious.

This is a great house located in a perfect neighborhood; close to everything but also in a leafy quiet area. Awesome Twin anchors restaurant a couple of blocks away. I would recommend this house to anyone. Five of us were very comfortable; the house was very clean with nice amenities.

We were looking for comfortable accommodation reasonably near to the city centre in a pleasant area convenient for local amenties (shops, restaurants, transport etc), and that is exactly what we found.
The accommodation was easy to book and the owner very helpful.
Perhaps a reading light in the rear bedroom would add to the comfort of the property, but other than that small problem it was a clean and pleasant place to stay; we would certainly recommend this house. -

This was a nice property that fit our needs. The location was great. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed cooking and staying "home" with our grand daughter and kids. The living room was a little small for the six of us sitting around, but the bedrooms were big and comfortable.

We've had several guests have family gatherings and even had celebrations there but I do understand everyone has different needs. This town home was in a great location (near the train station) and it's a great cute little home.The home was very nice and perfect for a 4 day visit to Chicago. I would highly recommend renting this vacation home for your trip whether you're with friends or family. It was easy to rent without all those additional fees that other owners tack on when trying to make a payment.
If I return for another visit, I would definitely stay here again.
