East Pallant House is located in the heart of Chichester. All of the main attractions, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.
Ground Floor:-
Large entrance hallway with dining room to the right hand side and music room and downstairs sitting room to the left. Kitchen with electric oven, dishwasher and large fridge / freezer.
Downstairs w.c and utility room with washing machine and second fridge.
The back door leads directly to the garden (down a few steps).
First Floor:-
Second sitting room with large T.V and DVD Player overlooking the garden.
Study with desk and chair, pool table and wifi access.
Single Bedroom overlooking the front of the house.
Double Bedroom overloking the front of the house with en-suite shower room.
Second Double Bedroom overlooking the garden.
House Bathroom with rolltop bath, wash hand basin and w.c.
Second Floor:-
Large bedroom overlooking the garden with 3 single beds.

Patio area with table and chairs and BBQ leading to grassed area. There is a pathway at the side of the garden which leads to the parking area at the rear of the garden, the parking area is shared with the flats to the side of the house. Residents will use the path to get to and from the building but the garden is for sole use of guests staying at East Pallant .There is parking for a maximum of 4 cars. Please note the entrance to the garden is not gated and therfore children will need supervision.

Pallant House was the perfect venue for my celebration get together, and we just wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are enormous with beautiful furniture, and some "interesting" nick nacks scattered around to amuse. The cleanliness was top notch. Only negative thing is the paintwork and carpets are looking a little tired, but that didnt affect our enjoyment in any way.

We stayed as a party of 13 at East Pallant House for two nights in June and were very sad to leave, we loved it that much! Everybody was totally blown away with the size of the house and the space allowed us to all be together but have our own privacy (and a lot of bathrooms to fight over!)
The best bits of the house were as follows:
- Location, walking distance from everything! We got a taxi from the train station but we could easily have walked.
- Parking included. For those who drove, this was a real bonus.
- The comfort and luxury of each room. The bathrooms, the beds, the communal areas (very comfy sofas!) and the dining facilities were all superb.
- The layout of the house: You could be formal and dine in style downstairs one night, with a pianist playing the piano while you eat, like we did, and the next night you can go up a floor and chill on the sofas, play pool and listen to music!
The only two things that could have been seen as a downside were:
- The size of the kitchen, (it is small in comparison to the house, but we got caterers in who didn't mind, and it does have everything you would need to cook for that many people).
- The garden, it was a shame that it was not private. There were a lot of people coming and going as the path leads to the building next door which we thought were flats. Not really a problem to us but might be a downside for some people.
All in all, a wonderful stay in a very, very special house. We will never forget it and will be pleased to return again on a future occasion. -

Ok - speaking as a veteran of large holiday home rentals (we do 3+ a year) - this was great looking house inside and out. Location - bit difficult to find (well access to back parking area at least)- but very central in Chichester. The house had multiple lounges which worked well with extended family - as people were not tripping over each other. The pictures on the website are little misleading as garden isnt really private - it is kind of shared with 5 flats (which also share the parking area), so dont book if you are after private garden. The house is a lovely house and for a short break with easy access to some shops and the Whitterings - it was spot on. We had a great time - and the sheer amount of space in the house really ensured we had ample space to relax and chill out without being on top of everyone in the group. If I was being really picky - the parking is a bit of a pain (we had 7 cars between our group - and there is only really 3 dedicated spaces with teh house - one is 'visitor' space for the flats as well), the kitchen a little small for the size of the house, and the carpets were very grubby (looked like previous few weeks of tenants had had a few big parties in there to say the least). The rental company were helpful whilst booking and in the run up the weekend and also good at responding to comments after we left (apparently teh carpets were being cleaned anyway the day after our departure).

We loved our stay in Chich with 15 members of our family, the house is beautiful, huge and with good heating (we stayed in December 10 when it snowed buckets).I It has comfy beds, good bathrooms, quiet and not creaky (it dates from the17thC). The kids loved the two sky boxes in the two big lounges; and the pool table. We loved the other quieter lounge! It's bang in the centre of Chich with 4 private parking places and the town centre two minutes away. It felt quite a privelage using the house which, as Pallant House, is the house of the Pallants area of Chich inside the City walls.
