Very peaceful, but central, no traffic, 2 bedrooms, max. 5 people, pool, garden

Small, but nice holiday home/villa/chalet with about 75 m2 near the beach of La Barrosa in Chiclana de la Frontera. 750 m2 well-kept and walled in property with pines, palm trees, fruit trees and Mediterranean plants like bougainvilleas and jasmine. The garden and the pool are cared for regularly by our gardener. The house, renovated in 2011, has 2 bedrooms, one with access to the garden. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The sofa in the living room can be used as an extra sleeping accommodation. You will have a bathroom / WC with shower and sink in the house.... The kitchen is completely equipped with a water cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, blender and washing machine..... Cooking utensils and glasses, plates and utensils are available. In the living/dining room you have a TV with international programs, sofa, chairs, dining table for 6 people. WiFi access free of charge. Parking on the property. Key handover occurs through a German, english and spanish speaking person on site. Emergency telephone number.

Bedsheets, towels, taxes, electricity, gas and water included in the price.

The pool is in operation from 01.04. - 31.10 and is cleaned and inspected weekly.

Damages caused must be reported by the responsible person so that these damages can be repaired immediately.

In the winter time (1.12. - 31.3.) we rent the house for 650 € / month. For all rentals of 2 month or more.

Deposit of 50% on account max. 14 days after reservation. Further 50% due 30 days before arrival. Should the booking occur 30 days or less before arrival, the total amount is due immediately.

Additional costs:
Final cleaning is included in the price.
From 02.10.2010 - 01.04.2011, € 50 per week is charged additionally for heating costs.

Long-term tenant and winter holidays are welcome. There are other conditions as well. Please ask. Due to its fireplace and central heating, the house offers an ideal possibility to escape the gray winter of central and northern europe and to spend this time in the south.

Since the nights are cool and moist from the sea, the heating is a good plus compared to other houses (central heating is a rarity).

  Hemos pasado unos días magníficos en la Casa Tatooine situada en Chiclana, Cádiz. La casa está en una urganización muy tranquila y lo mejor es el amplio jardín arbolado del que dispone junto con un piscina en el centro del mismo. La propiedad es fresca incluso en esta calurosa época del año.
  La casa está bien amueblada y está dotada de una amplia cocina con todos los utensilios necesarios para pasar unos días. Eso sí le falta una cafetera.
  En cuanto a las habitaciones para mí es lo más deficiente puesto que son pequeñas y tienen una moqueta que está ya muy deteriorada y desprende un olor bastante desagradable en estos días de calor. En un sitio de playa y con altas temperaturas no es muy higiénico el tener moquetas en las vivienda ya que la arena de la playa se filtra en ella y produce este extraño olor.
  
  La propiedad está premanentemente cuidada por uun par de personas que hacen los trabajos propios de limpieza de la piscina y de jardinería. Pero lo que sí sería de agradecer es que no vinieran con la motosierra a las 8.30 de la mañana cuando los inquilinos intentamos descansar durante nuestras vacaciones.
  
  Por lo demás la propiedad es muy recomendable, sus dueños y agentes intermediarios muy amables, pero creo que hay aspectos que se pueden mejorar como he señalado con anterioridad.

  Buenas tardes,
  somos los propietarios de la casa Tatooine y le estamos tremendamente agradecidos por su comentario. Ya que nos ayuda a mejorar las instalaciones.
  La cafetera es algo que habiamos pasado por alto, pero facil de solucionar, de hecho ya hemos comprado una.
  Sobre la moqueta le doy toda la razon y hemos decidido cambiarla por suelo de loza, mas limpio y facil de limpiar. Lo haremos en cuanto acabe el verano.
  Y tambien le agradezco que nos haya avisado sobre las practicas del jardinero, de las cuales no teniamos ni idea, ya que lo normal es que vaya el dia de salida y entrada que tiene tiempo sufuciente para hacer sus labores, no dude de que tomaremos medidas al respecto. Vivimos en el extranjero y no estamos al tanto de lo que realmente ocurre con las personas encargadas del mantenimiento.
  Solo podemos pedirle disculpas por las molestias que esto le haya podido ocasionar.

  In april we were at the Casa Tatooine for 2 Weeks. The House is set up beatifully, clean and well appointed. The big Garden is very leafy and full of beatiful shady Trees. We will come back soon!
