This 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa with separate 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom casita is located in Chicxulub Puerto and is decorated with hand carved wood furniture together with Mayan and eclectic art. Casa Magica boasts luxury linens, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 televisions and an unusually large air conditioned bedroom suite.
This magnificent house was designed to take advantage of prevailing sea breezes. The living and dining areas open to magnificent views and tropical breezes. There are ocean views from most rooms and a wide golden beach is at your doorstep.

Casa Magica is not just endless empty beaches, peace and quiet, quaint fishing villages, friendly Mayans, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Less than 5 minutes away is a Pink Flamingo Sanctuary and Observatory where you can watch these magnificent birds in their natural habitat. Progreso, 5 miles from the house, has a beautiful Malecon with restaurants overlooking the longest pier in the world.

Casa Magica was just what I needed. A beautiful house , the ocean near by,
Close to Merida and archeological sites. A quiet environment , plenty of time to relax. The house is perfectly clean, thanks to Daisy.
I recommend renting a car for easy access to everything. -

We had a wonderful time at Casa Magica. It wasn't only a vacation, we lived there for two months. It had plenty of room when we had guests from home and it was homey enough for just the two of us the rest of the time. We brought our chihauhau Booboo with us and he loved to walk the beach and be off his leash in the gated yard. We did most of our own cooking so the kitchen was great for that. We each used our own bathroom so that was great. There were plenty of bedrooms. The pool was a little cool as we were there in the winter. The ocean view was spectacular out the patio doors and the pool deck was a great place to relax. We watched the sea life from there.
The caretakers, Jose and Deysi, became our friends and were around as much as we wanted and as little as we wanted. We spoke limited Espanol so we asked them many questions and got alot of help. Deysi and Jose cleaned, got water and sent out our laundry when we wanted. But the friendship and caring relationship was the best. We were two women with a little dog alone in a foreign country but we always felt safe. Even outside of Casa Magica we were treated with respect and enjoyed many conversations with a variety of people. We had our own car but we saw many people using the buses or even walking. We bought groceries at the Walmart in Progresso and did some shopping and just relaxed and peoplewatched on the Malecon. We also went to Merida for many things, a haircut, oil change for our car, shopping and sightseeing. We also went to many ruins in the area.
