Deer Run-French Country Style Farmhouse w/ Hot Tub

This home is 1/2 mile from Chilmark Center It is minutes to both Lucy Vincent Beach (with both nude and regular bathing sections) and Squibnocket Beach. It is just up the hill from the Stonewall Pond Bridge to Aquinnah and is surrounded by large oaks and overlooks a large woodland from most of the rooms and the deck. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, sleeps 7 in beds, PLUS has one queen pull out couch in Dinning Room which could make the total 9 for occasional guests. Can also add trundle bed.

There is a brand new king mattress in the master an outdoor HOT TUB and indoor jacuzzi in master bath.

Please note the calendar... may not show the 1st and last day of a time period as booked due to the fact the house may turn over on the same day. Those days will appear as open to accommodate that.

The layout - This home has a large kitchen, all new appliances, with large adjacent formal dining room, both overlooking the woods. There is a family room with couches and a TV right off of the kitchen and a Living Room/ Studio with large easel adjacent to the Dinning room which is at the other end of the home. The laundry room has new appliances. There is a small office overlooking the woods. The Master Bedroom, has a fireplace, TV, master bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. One of the Queen bedrooms has just one queen bed and the Third Bedroom has a Queen plus a Twin. All bedrooms are on the second floor. Will CONSIDER Flexible arrival departure ( WED/THURS/FRIDAYS +/- pro rated days where possible - 7 day min stay during peak season and 4 days in shoulder season - In peak season we will consider booking 8, 9, 10 or more days where it can fit into the schedule)
This depends on surrounding reservations to some degree.

Tenant pays for final cleaning, international long distance telephone, pay per view, ferry tickets, beach passes.
Home is well supplied with all linens, spices fresh herb pots on deck, back pack beach chairs, beach towels, gas and charcoal grill, hot tub, 2 person jacuzzi .

  Set in a very cosy area of West Tisbury, a short stroll from Chilmark Chocolates, this is a very comfortable home for a family or a group. Outstanding kitchen and a dining room table that takes twelve with ease, all is there. Gas range, great view of the woods, spice mixes, real sea salt,all the pots and pans for the gourmet chef. Comfortable nooks and couches to relax, read, have a nap, have a conversation, all is there.
  Great deck, hot tub, outdoor shower, hammock, etc. Yes, it's all here!
  Fabulous beach chairs, etc. all you'd need.
  Would we go back ... in a heart beat!
  Thank you to our graciuos hostess Betty who made certain all was right and answered any questions about her favourite shops, restaurants, cheese shop, wine sources, groceries, etc.
  Surprise ...air conditioners too!!!
  Overall ... bravo!

  Thanks for the Exceptioanally favoable review. The only correction is that we are in CHILMARK not West Tisbury which is 12 minutes down Middle Road... I'm so glad that these guests enjoyed Deer Run and we agree , all they need is to Come Back! Hope to see you next year!

  During the week of august 13-21st 2012. My fanily and I stayed at Betty' French Farmhouse in Chilmark ma.We loved it! The house was charming and it had all of the amenities listed in its descriptipn and then some. It was like staying at home, only we were in the rented space for 8 days. We especially enjoyed gathering in the kitchen and eating in the large dinning room area. The bedrooms were comfortable and the sleeping accomodations were great. I wanted to get away from the urban environment and spend my vacation in a quiet and peaceful area on the Vineyard and Deer Run was just the place.
