Sprawling Hilltop Glass House admits views and entertains peace from every angle. Large south facing stone terrrace has hot tub and large table to enjoy guests and family.

BEDROOM NOTE:

This house has 3 ( THREE) bedrooms 2 k, 1 q plus twin - sleeping 7 -PLUS overflow area in rec room in basement area full over full bunks ( 3 kids probably max).. this room has pool table couch, extra refrigerator, laundry and bathroom with shower adjacent... great fo...r teen agers or short term quest. Brand new mattresses, but not on a par with other bedrooms as it is in a basement area so not a "real" bedroom but good for overflow.

The stone terrace has chaise lounges for sunworshipping on the south side and on the north side there are views of Vineyard Sound which can include traveling ships or twinkling stars and lights from the mainland at night. Three full bedrooms PLUS double over double bunks in recreation area in the basement with 4 baths afford comfort for guests. Master suite is located at one end of house while two other bedrooms are at the other ( 1 with king and 1with both twin and queen) are adjoined by porch or kitchen. One has pvt bath the other has full bath adjacent.

Large dinning - living area welcomes outdoors in at any season... a delight. The double over double bunks in the basement are super for overflow or short term use.Read more

Private yet a short drive in all directions to many sought after services or locations. As close to North Tisbury which hosts Up Island Supermarket, drug store, banks, Close to West Tisbury , which has gas station, and Alley's General store, as to Menemsha fishing Village with fish markets, gas station, sunsets attractions, public beach and also just minutes to Squibnocket, Chilmark Center with Library , Town Hall, Chilmark Store, Post Office, Community Center ,Chilmark Chocolates and Lovely Lucy Vincent Beach!

50% down upon signing of lease
Securty deposit and remainder of balance is due 45 days prior to arrival as is second payment of rent. Final cleaning pay per view, INTERNATIONAL long distance , trash removal are all deducted from security deposit. Fair and On time repayments!

Bi weekly or longer rentals discounted. Calendar is marked with some booked days shown as open as house turns over on same day... out in morning at 10am and in at 1pm.

I am reluctant to rent this home during deep winter season due to the relative difficulty to get in and out of the narrow and elevated road during very heavy snow season. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and enjoy this type of supported endeavor than this might be for you. Call to discuss this owners agent has been renting this home for over 20 years and is very familiar with the area. I am happy to advise you in all matters.

  How grateful I am for our relaxing stay. It was truly special with too many good things to write about. First we found the location centrally located to many things. The house is beautiful and comfortable with an awesome view. When I could drag myself out of the wonderful Roma Steam Shower, I enjoyed the Hot Tub, especially at night under the stars. We found the walking trails very nice and I was pleasantly surprised at the abundance of wildlife we saw. The beaches were fabulously calm, conforting & serene...simply perfect for a wonderful day of sun worshiping. It was extrememly hard for us to leave, but we left with many unique memories and plan on returning soon.

  Fantastic Family Retreat !

  Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful reunion here. The terrace was the site of some wonderful dinners! We enjoyed the hot tub almost every evening and some mornings as well. It was a little off of the main road but well worth the time to get to.
  The beaches were absolutely splendid and we were surprised the water was so warm yet.
  We are still talking about it hoping to return.
