Caernarfon North WalesEven better than my best hopes.

From my first contact email, this experience was superb. Barbara was always prompt with answering my queries, and very helpful. Payment was dealt with simply and efficiently. On arrival, the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The apartment was just perfect. Lots of space, great bathrooms, lovely balcony. Everything worked; all the equipment supplied was beyond our expectations, and the service from the staff was brilliant. The security was great, comfortably there but not overwhelming. The condition of everything on the site, from the pool area to the stairways, was immaculate. We really couldn't fault it.
This isn't a remote location; it's in the heart of things, so on a couple of occasions music could be heard into the small hours, it wasnt loud or intrusive to us, and the reviews had alerted us to it anyway. There was never any noise from traffic or drunken holidaymakers. Every restaurant we used was extremely good.
There are several stunning beaches within walking distance. All have bars with friendly, helpful staff and great food. Every beach we went to was incredibly well run! The facilities and service staff were exceptional, in fact that is true all over the island. Even remote beaches had immaculately clean amenities. We rented a car, which was delivered to the door within 30 minutes of our phone call!
Impossible to say what we liked best, it was our first holiday in Barbados and we were stunned by the beauty of its scenery and people. The friendliness of every Bajan we met, from security staff to the old lady who made sure we got on the right bus, was incredible. One highlight was definitely Oistins on a friday night; not to be missed! Bridgetown had some great shops and bars.
But, it was all so good, on our return to the UK we booked immediately to spend Christmas there this year.

NYCHeavenly Hideaway #9 - a gem on the beach in St Lawrence Gap apt
Left on 05/25/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My friend and I stayed at the St. Lawrence Gap apts from May 17-21. The apt was clean and nicely appointed. The master bedroom was large and has a great view of the tiny beach and pool area.
The balcony overlooking the pool was a little piece of heaven. Plenty of shade from the powerful sun and great for sitting and reading or just listening to the waves crashing.
The kitchen was fully equipped with appliance for making drinks, a meal, you name it. The living area and new flat screen TV were all great. My roommate liked to turn on the TV in the mornings to get us started so it was nice to have a HD experience.
The location is great for easy food access and a 10 min walk to Dover Beach or Sandy Beach.
The apt was basically sound proof because you couldn't hear a peep from the nearby clubs and bars at night.
WiFi (included) worked well.
The staff was nice albeit a bit unaware of how to proceed with allowing me to enter the apt when I arrived. They did the best they could.
Over all a good, comfortable stay and I would definitely go back. -

Chicago, ILCondo #9
Left on 02/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We stayed in Unit #9 for a week and loved it!! The location is perfect. We didn't rent a car and didn't have any trouble exploring the area by taxi or bus. The site and sound of the ocean from the condo was truly amazing. We went to sleep to the sound of the waves and woke to the crystal blue water and the surf waking us up, it was perfect. I loved having the pool right next to the beach, we layed by the pool every day on the lounge chairs and swam in the ocean right outside the condo. It was a very swimmable area, which was nice since I know other areas have very strong surf. There were lots of little bars and restaurants in a variety of price ranges within walking distance of the condo. The condo itself was nice, nothing super fancy but the bathroom and kitchen were updated and clean and the balcony was perfect. I would definitely recommend this property!

The condo was well appointed. Monica, the manager was very helpful and always accessible. Because there was no new tenant coming in the day we left, we were able to have a later checkout which was fabulous. The common areas of the building are well maintained. We have visited Barbados many times so we understood that we were in a loud restaurant/bar, nightlife district. It is quite busy in the street outside the condo, but we expected that. You could hear some muffled boom/boom sounds in the back room where the children slept; they did not complain. In the master bedroom and the main living area, we loved to keep the windows open to hear the sound of the surf. Once through gates of the condo building though, you felt like you were away from it all. The little beach is better than advertised, effectively a private beach as no outside traffic will walk to this beach as it is surrounded by rocks on either side.

Montreal, CanadaFantastic Experience!
Left on 02/13/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We planned our vacation at the very last minute. We were worried as we had already booked our flight but had no accommodations. Luckily we used tripadvisor and after a few days of looking at all our options, we managed to find availability at the St. Lawrence Gap Beach Condos.
Barbara Trotman helped us by answering all our questions and ensuring that we felt comfortable. When we arrived at the Condo unit we were pleasantly surprised at the location, the room layout, and the size of the Condo. In addition, the view from out room overlooking the sea was spectacular. The icing on the cake was the exceptional service provided by the people working there. They were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Ricardo, the older gentleman who worked at night(Jerry), and Monica.
In a nutshell, a fantastic vacation!

This was a wonderful condo at St. Lawrence Gap. Spacious bedrooms that walked out onto the pool area, and spacious bathroooms. Kitchen we well equipped, fridge, stove, iron, ironing board, lots of dishes etc., Condo was cleaned every second day, and the whole area was wonderfully clean.
View overlooking the ocean was wonderful, and we could walk to a great number of restaurants, and some small shops. There is also a small grocery shop near to the Condo. -

Heavenly Hideaway @ St Lawrence Beach apts (#9)" is really the perfect place to stay in Barbados. You can find many restaurants,a grocery,a bank near st-lawrence condos. The apartment was really exactly as on the photos.I had never seen such a stunning view before..We fell asleep and we woke up with the sound of the waves...When you are in Heavenly Hideaway @ St Lawrence Beach apts (#9)" you really have the impression to have the sea at your feet..By night if you don't want to cook you will find just downstairs in the street many street salesmen who propose delicious chicken, burgers or flying fish..Only two false notes in this paradise:
-the 2d bedroom is dark so during the day you have to switch on the light when you come in,but it was ok as you were never in the apartment durind the day..and the children preferred to stay on the terrace when we were at home so...
-as the condo is in st lawrence gap which is very bustling,by night somedays the music was very loud..so it was sometimes difficult to fall asleep, but the music of the waves make you forget the music from the street..
Except of these two points everything was perfect..And Barbara and audrey were here when we needed it...So if you look for a place to go for your holidays in Barbados, don't hesitate and go to Heavenly Hideaway @ St Lawrence Beach apts (#9)",you wont'be disappointed...It is really affordable luxury apartments... -

Three Canadians decided to take a break from the winter blahs and chill somewhere warm and sunny. After 3 months of deciding and planning and agreeing, we found St. Lawrence Beach apt. The pictures on the website are exactly what the place looked like! Very clean and comfy and we had our own little beach and awesome view of the ocean and sunset. Its right in the Gap so you do hear the boom boom of the music, but it was faint and in the background in our apt. Open the huge windows and hear the ocean crashing against the shoreline puts you to sleep! We can't wait to return next year and hoping the troops will stay long this time!.

We spent nine nights at the condo and had a great time - The facilities are first rate and really comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and it was great to be able to retire to our shaded balcony in the afternoon. The location is perfect. We spoke with other vacationers who had stayed at other places and they all agreed that this is the best.
