My husband and I stayed at Margaret and Fred's Crucian Bliss for one week and had a wonderful honeymoon/vacation. Margaret made it very easy to secure the reservation and was very helpful with suggestions of things to experience and navigating around the island.
The condo's location superb, right on the ocean and the best at Pelican Cove. The grounds and pool area are beautiful. The amenities at the condo are great. We enjoyed preparing many of your own meals at the condo. There is everything you need there. It is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Will be chosing the Crucian Bliss and St. Croix again. -

We had a short stay, only three nights. This was our first trip to St. Croix. The condo was great and Margaret was very helpful as we were getting ready. We've stayed in condos for several years now on other vacations and had mostly great experiences. This one was right up there. It was clean and well equipped. Arriving after dark was a little challenge -- we pulled into the place next door at first as we'd missed the last sign, but not a big deal. Never considered turning on the a/C as the breezes are great. As someone else mentioned, it's a first floor center unit, but we never heard anything from above us or the sides, and the patio off the back was very private. I would suggest water shoes or a Teva-style sandal as parts of the beach are a little rocky or have lots of shells (just a couple minute walk to the west gets sandy). It's a great, quiet spot. We had a great stay at the Crucian Bliss! Our brother in law and his wife were with us and enjoyed it also. Everything we needed was available at the condo and were able to pick up a few groceries nearby. This was our first time to rent a condo on a trip and would definitely do it again! After staying in all inclusive in the past, we got tired of the same old food and all the hustle and bustle of those resorts. This was so private and we didn't overeat like usual at the all inclusive resorts. We enjoyed having our own place rather than just a hotel room where we could relax after a long day of exploring. One of the workers even came in and showed us how to cut up a coconut and told us their uses! The location was great that it is central to the island and not far from the town of Christiansted if we needed anything. The beach was great for walking and snorkeling possibly but not really swimming as there is alot of coral. But there is a beautiful pool here and beach next door at The Palms. We also ate there one night. All in all I loved hearing the surf outside our bedroom and coffee on the patio looking over the ocean in the morning! We would definitely stay again!

We are a husband/wife 55y.o. that stayed here last week of Jan '13. Hot tub and pool were great. The beach is very close and we took evening walks along the beach with full moon. morning walks/runs in am along local roads and always felt very safe. felt safe inside the condo as well. Normally 82 day 72 night and constant flow through breeze and only used the a/c sparingly. Locals were all very friendly. We have stayed at several rental homes in different states.This was as nice as they come. This condo was very clean and had everything you need. We liked the bed and linens and pillows.This is a ground level and we were worried that the walls would be thin. Never did hear people upstairs or sides. Much quieter than a hotel. The central location on island was great. Also very close to Christiansted and many restaurants and main attractions. We are nature lovers and enjoyed the seathrukayaks.com night bioluminescent trip was our favorite. back of condo faces east and had your cup of coffee on back patio, watch the sun come up and didn't worry about prying eyes. Next door is walking distance to the Palms restaurant with mocko jumbies entertainment on monday night meals. snorkeling is very good down the beach and very short walk to left/west. There can be a fairly strong undertow for younger or weaker swimmers. Although the last day we were there we talked to a 82 y.o. that had just snorkeled that area. overall we strongly reccommend this condo to all.

This condo and location is everything previous reviewers have said. We have stayed in various condos and this one is by far the best equipped. Even though the ice maker is temperamental, there was a large bag of fresh ice in the freezer. We also enjoyed the selection of videos.
The location is a cab ride ($12) to Christenstad which is still cheaper than a rental car.
The interest of the pool area is increased by the daily appearance of iguanas and an occasional water bird.
St. Croix is a quiet island. There are several excellent restaurants in C'stad. Divers will enjoy the options. Otherwise, bring your books and sun screen. -

We had a wonderful time this summer of 2012 when we traveled to St. Croix. We rented an oceanfront Condo outside of Christensted, the Crucian Bliss owned by Margaret Christen. Upon arrival it was just as lovely as the pictures on the internet site. It was steps from the beach, beautiful pool, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay inside the condo. The condo is located next to a hotel/bar, so we often walked over for drinks and dinner and enjoyed talking to the friendly staff there, who also gave us tips on where to go on the island. We were mintues away from the town of Christenstead, so we could easily go into town for dinner and shopping. The owner went above and beyond by making a reservation for our family to see leatherback turtles hatching, and that was an awesome highlight of our trip!

We stayed here for a week in March. The condo is in an ideal location-on the beach but close to Christiansted and easily accessible from the airport. The complex is well laid out and the grounds are neat and well kept. We especially enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The condo itself is tastefully furnished, and the bed and pillows in the master bedroom were made for a great night's sleep. We didn't use the second bedroom so I can't comment on those. The owner has really thought of everything and anything you might need to make your stay more enjoyable.

The condo was very clean and comforting. It was located in a very quiet complex and is located right on the ocean. This condo is centrally located on the island for easy access to all the island sights. For a nice and relaxing vacation, this is the place to stay.

This was our first trip to St. Croix, and was pleasantly surprised with the Island. The Condo was wonderfully situated overlooking the ocean and had plenty of space for the four of us to spread out. We were disappointed in the maintenance items that needed to be addressed. Also, the directions to the condo need to be reviewed, as we arrived after dark some of the signage is not quite apparent. The location is very convenient for touring the island. We would definitely visit again.
