We fell in love with this unit the first time we saw it. It is one of four units at Colony Cove with direct access from the lanai to the beach and water. You will love walking out the gate from the lanai to stroll along the beach, relax on lounge chairs under the palm trees, sleep in the hammock, watch the pelicans dive for dinner or snorkel with the fish by the manmade reef in the bay. Colony Cove is conviently located mid island on the north shore. We are just minutes west of Christiansted where you will find some of the best restaurants and shopping on the island. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance of our complex. We are located on the beach in a quiet bay which is sheltered by a coral reef about 1/4 mile away. Visitors can snorkel, wind surf, kite board or jet ski in our quiet bay. There are two restaurants along our beac. Bllue Lagoon is next door and Breezez is a short walk down the beach. There are plenty of taxis on St. Croix but we recommend renting a car to take full advantage of all St. Croix has to offer. Colony Cove is a gated complex with an office staffed during business hours. When the office is not open we have a security guard on duty at all times to greet you or answer questions. There is plenty of convenient parking available for residents and guests.

Overall this was a great place to stay and a great location to explore the island. The owner was very easy to work with, very responsive to my emails and did everything in her power to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The condo is exactly as described and has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. The lanai/patio is all you really need to know about. Its huge, has beach access and a great view of the multi-hued blue water! My wife and I spent many hours enjoying cheap Cruzan rum on the lanai :) The beds were too soft for us but that’s just our personal taste. Parking at the complex was easy and we never had trouble finding a spot close to the condo. Our suggestion is to go out for a swim in the sea first thing in the morning when the tide is in and the water is deeper. When you’re on the road keep your eyes open for the islanders selling fish in random locations around the island. You can get fresh fish and lobsters for way cheaper than you will pay for a meal at the restaurants in Christiansted. We wish we would have spent every night eating fresh fish and drinking local rum on the lanai.

We just spent a week here and loved it. It's was like our own piece of paradise. We walked out of the condo and right onto the beach. The condo was very very nice. Would go back in a heartbeat. Only a few miles from Christiansted.

There is nothing bad to say about this condo. It had beautiful furnishings, a more than fully equiped kitchen and tons of extras for our comfort. The condo feels like the Caribbean with the decoration theme and nice art work on the walls. The open kitchen/living room concept was perfect and the view was the greatest. Fine restaurants, super markets and Christianstad are quickly reached but everything is only 1/2 hour away, at the most, since the island is not very big. The only consideration before going to St Croix again would be the island itself with what seems like higher crime than other islands we have visited in the Caribbean. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing time though. The pool and the grounds were also delightful. The owner of this condo was extremely helpful and gracious to us. If you are going to St Croix, this is an excellent place to stay.

Our condo at Colony Cove (102D) was very nice. It is directly on the beach and has a lovely view. We watched the seaplanes coming and going everyday and enjoyed the wonderful island breezes. The condo is well furnished and updated and we lacked for nothing during our stay. The pool is also very nice as are the grounds.

The condo is everything that was described and more. We used the lanai every morning and evening for our meals. We fixed most of our meals at the condo and everything we needed was there. We usually all get one room and share but having a bed and bath to oneself was so great. A great place for 2 couples or 2 singles! I can't say enough about the service - everyone was so friendly and helpful. I hope that I get a chance to visit again and will definitly contact Judy! She was so helpful and doing business with her was a pleasure!

We stayed in unit 102D and we were so happy we rented there. We loved the condo. It was clean and bright with new furniture and appliances. The kitchen was adorable and newly renovated. There was always a wonderful sea breeze. The snorkeling in the bay was great off the manmade tire reef. We saw many colorful fish and several big rays on the bottom. The condo is very close to Christiansted and two grocery stores were minutes away. We loved snorkeling at Cane Bay and exploring the other spectacular beaches on the island. A week was not enough time to do all the activities we had planned. We loved St. Croix and we plan to make another trip back. We will definitely stay in 102D again.

Out of all the places listed we chose this one and are so glad that we did! The owner, Judy, was so helpful with giving us great information for our first stay on St.Croix...everything from car rentals, hidden beaches, best spot for brunch or burgers and remembering to bring a pair of water shoes. Their renovated and fully equipped condo (we especially appreciated the washer/dryer so we could pack really light) was just steps from the pool out the front door and directly on the beach off the patio (gallery in St.Croix parlance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for getting all around the island. The complex was secure with a gated entry. Our only regret was not staying longer. But we will be back!

We had the most wonderful time staying at the condo! The rooms are cutely decorated in a beach theme. Everything is so nice and clean. The condo staff was helpful and friendly! There is a nice pool with BBQ access. We grilled our fresh lobster we bought at the farmers market, delicious! The snorkeling off the back of the condo was amazing! Seriously steps away. We saw stingray and lobster and all sorts of fish. I also rescued a baby turtle and set it out to sea. It was very relaxing to stroll up and down the beach right out our lanai doors or lay in the hammocks. The beds were very comfy and the ocean breeze made for very restful nights. Couldn't have asked for a nicer condo or a more wonderful vacation. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We plan on returning again and soon!

Just came home from staying at this awesome condo on the beach
We just stayed at this condo from Feb 15 to Feb 25 2012 and can not say enough nice things about it. Don and Judy did a great job redoing this unit. This is our 4th time staying at Colony Cove and this unit is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. The unit is like brand new with plenty of cooking utensils and plates etc for way more than 4 people. It is 1st floor so very good for handicap people in wheelchairs. There was two couples of us staying there and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Grocery store just 1/4 mile away and has a great selection of food. It would be helpful having a rental car to get around the island but I would never recommend Budget at the airport, due to rude personnel and not helping out in any way with any problems. The staff at Colony Cove was top notch also. This unit is about 35 steps from the pool and the beach. A million dollar view from the beach and from your front patio that is right on the beach. You won't be disappointed staying here. We will definitely be in contact with Don and Judy to stay there again and again in the future. They were very nice to deal with and we would recommend this condo to anyone and everyone. Better call Don and Judy now for that relaxing vacation in St Croix. Our favorite vacation destination of all time. We would be living in St Croix if it were not for two very very loved grandsons. To end this review just one thing ---call them now to reserve it for your next vacation -

Rented three condos at Colony Cove for a family gathering. This was by far the nicest,best equipped and cleanest. Pleasing decor and colors, remodeled bathrooms and kitchen made this ground floor beach front unit stand out. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again and stay longer! We love the location of Colony Cove because it makes it easy to get to both ends of the island. Foodtown is a convenient grocery store with decent prices and a good selection. Rent a car so that you can visit the many different beaches, explore town and enjoy the great restaurants.
