We very much enjoyed our stay. The teenage offspring were happy kayaking, playing tennis, beaver watching, etc, giving us time to walk, bird watch and chill! House was well equipped and comfortable.

Left on 03/29/2011 for a stay in March 2011
For our Ruby Wedding anniversary, we took our family to Cuckoos Nest to celebrate 40 years of married bliss. It lived up to our expectations as a high end quality, family home. It is a really lovely contemporary house in wonderful surroundings.
We all took lots of delicious cooked food and had lovely family meals around the table.
The house is really luxurious and very comfortable. We had walks around the lakes, visited the pretty Cotswold villages and had some pub lunches. There wasn't anything we didn't like. A perfect English holiday and a perfect Ruby Do. -

SouthamptonFamily 60th birthday celebration
Left on 03/21/2011 for a stay in March 2011
As it was my husband's 60th birthday I booked Cuckoo's Nest as a retreat for my family of 6 adults, 1 child and 2 toddlers. The Cotswold Water Park was an ideal setting and the house was well furnished and extremely well equipped making it a home from home. It was particularly well equipped with babies in mind (including high chairs, baby booster seat, travel cots, stair gates and baby monitor). Cooking for nine presented no difficulties.
The Beadles have taken a lot of time an effort to make sure all vacation needs are more than adequately catered for. There were plenty of things to occupy the 8 year old and the toddlers.
The house overlooks one of the numerous lakes and the ducks, swans and Canadian geese were well fed and a source of entertainment for the youngsters. We made good use of the Spa, swimming pool and children's activity areas which were all close by.
Overall we were looking for a quiet, comfortable, tranquil weekend break and in renting Cuckoo's Nest we certainly achieved our objective.

BathA luxurious, relaxing stay in the beautiful cotswolds
Left on 03/16/2011 for a stay in November 2008
Cuckoo's Nest is a beautiful house and we had everything we needed for a relaxed and luxurious weekend stay. We enjoyed swimming every day in the peaceful atmosphere of the spa and walking around the lake. This is an ideal place to go with kids, very safe with lots to do on site and nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cuckoo's Nest to others.

Ballylongford, IrelandCuckoo's nest - luxury in beautiful surroundings
Left on 03/10/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We were looking for a place to celebrate a special weekend away before Christmas and weren't disappointed from the moment we spotted the advert for cuckoo's nest and booked our weekend away to driving away afterwards.
Booking was easy and friendly, and we were provided with all of the information that we needed to ensure that our weekend away with our young son was stress free. Cuckoo's nest has a range of facilities that makes staying with a young child easy - we didn't have to worry about bringing highchairs and the other paraphernalia that travelling with a small child often entails.
When we arrived, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, together with a gorgeous Christmas tree in the corner. Wood was provided for the log-burning stove and it took no time at all to get the house really cosy. The house was clean and fresh, with each of the rooms nicely done out, and a lovely view of the lake through the window of the main window. The bedrooms were luxurious, with crisp, deep duvets and pillows, and a particular delight was the power showers!
Surrounded by water, cuckoo's nest feels very peaceful. We had access to the spa, and took advantage of the swimming pools and treatments on offer. We also took some time to explore the surrounding countryside - Cuckoo's nest is well positioned for walking in the Cotswolds.
I would highly recommend a visit to cuckoo's nest - we were only able to go for 3 days, and that just wasn't long enough for us. We will definitely be returning for a week later on this year. -

SurreyRelaxing pre-Christmas break
Left on 03/07/2011 for a stay in December 2008
We had a fantastic time away with friends celebrating before Christmas. The house was well equipped and supplied everything we needed considering there wer 3 children under 3 staying with us, which made packing a lot easier.
Everyone enjoyed the wonderfully warm indoor pool and the children's play areas, and the adults enjoyed the spa facilities and the beautiful wood burning stove in the evenings.
The house was even decorated for Christmas, a truly magiclal time of year to experience this beautiful part of the country. -

We had a great weekend although no sun appeared, but it was a perfect way to celebrate our Golden Wedding as my husbands illness ruled out other options.

Left on 03/03/2011 for a stay in February 2010
Beautiful location and lake views. Fascinating house designs as you walk around Lower Mill from traditional cotswold cottages to very contemporary eco-friendly homes. House is a wonderful home from home, offering lovely quality amenities throughout (kitchen particularly well equipped). On site spa is a haven, with excellent therapists. Have been to Cuckoo's Nest 3 times and can't wait to go again as a real escape with home comforts.

SheffieldA beautiful house in a beautiful location
Left on 03/03/2011 for a stay in April 2010
The house is very well kept with all the facilities that you could need. The owners have paid real attention to detail. The location is stunning is stunning and it's wonderful to wake up in the morning and look out over the lake.
It is also within easy reach of the local attractions and there are plenty of opportunities to entertain the whole family.
The spa is also fantastic and not too crowded so it's great for taking the kids swimming or having a beauty treatment.
All in all I would say this is one of the best places I've had the good fortune to stay and I will hopefully be returning soon.
