Ciro Marina has great restaurants on the beach offering fresh seafood and local Ciro wine. End your evening with a relaxing walk on the boardwalk, stopping to look at the local shops. Or have fresh crepes and enjoy the stunning view of the Ionian Sea. Just south of Ciro there are a couple of small towns, Torre Melissa, surrounded by beaches and hotels and Strongoli enjoying the crystal clear waters.
You can also take a drive up on a mountain to the town of Ciro and enjoy amazing food at a local Agurtisimo restaurant La Cantena, enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the town and beaches.
Car is recommended but not necessary.
Ciro Marina town is a few minutes drive from Residence Volvito.

Excellent location. The children enjoyed themselves immensely especially having the pool right at their disposal. Approximate walk to the beach was 15 mins, and you are able to rent the umbrella. Beautiful view. You have the option to cook for yourself as they have a stove or fridge (like the comfort of your own home) or eat at the restaurant on site. Great food. Also had the opportunity to explore the town. The only service which applies is the restaurant site or the village which has the other pool.
