Villa Bargi has been recently restored to a very high standard using traditional Umbrian materials and artisans. The eight bedrooms are matched with seven bathrooms (all high quality with great showers) and there is a choice of three inside lounges along with a huge covered terrace overlooking the whole area and pool. The pool is 16m by 6m and is saline therefore much better for you and the environment (no chemicals). There is Italian and UK Sky and wireless internet for further entertainment. Villa Bargi is 35km from Perugia, 180km from Rome and 120km from Pisa. The nearest budget airport is Perugia which is linked to Stansted by Ryanair. Ryanair also fly to Ancona, Pisa and Rome. Easyjet fly to Bologna and Pisa. The villa is 1km from the local vilage with small shop and two bars. The nearest larger town is Citta di Castello which is 15km away. The property is very rural with but within easy access 1km of a small village and only 800m up a white road so no problems with ruining car suspension.
The area is fantastic whether you should be interested in country walks, just step out the front door, and if you are more interested in the cultural aspect of the area there are more wonderful places than you could wish for, with CORTONA in Tuscany just 25 minutes drive away, CITTA' DI CASTELLO 25 minutes away, GUBBIO 40 minutes, ASSISI 45minutes, PERUGIA 50 minutes away and many more.

It was a huge house (actually two put together), all the bedrooms were large and the bathrooms all very good quality. All that was nice but the pool and grounds were where we spent all out time and that was 5 star. Good local bars and restaurants. Can't really comment on service as it was self catering but the cleaning was done well and the sheets etc were good
