Sutherland Manor is a tropical paradise, conveniently located on a quiet street in Old Palm... Harbor, a charming coastal community near Clearwater, Florida. Waterfront views and sunsets sparkle from almost every room. Enjoying nearly 365 days of sunshine, this home is an entertainer's dream with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large bonus room. Large rooms with vaulted ceilings spill onto 2 decks that look over the tropical landscape, heated pool and out onto the bay. It is newly remodeled and allergy friendly with fresh paint and new tile throughout. This is our “second home” and we furnished it, with your comfort and relaxation in mind, with the same attention to quality and detail that we appreciate for ourselves. We hope you do too!

The fully equipped quartz kitchen has everything you will need to prepare and serve meals with the choice of casual, bistro style dining or, if you prefer, in a formal dining room that opens up to seat 12 comfortably. A state of the art, infrared barbeque and comfortable patio furniture offer more dining choices on both levels.

The great room has comfortable, reclining leather furniture, a fireplace, a 50" HDTV with a BluRay DVD-CD player, digital cable package with over 200 channels.

The romantic mast retreat occupies the entire third floor and has its own private balcony overlooking the grounds and the bay beyond. It’s plush, deep purple carpet feels great on tired feet. It has a king sized bed, a chaise lounge and club chairs with a 50” HDTV and BluRay DVD player. The large master bathroom enjoys two walk-in closets, a two person shower and a garden tub for relaxation.

The playfully decorated children's room has two sets of bunk beds and its own flat screen TV with cable and DVD player.

The manatee room (west bedroom) has a water views and sliding doors to the deck on the main level. It has a queen bed. The parrot room (east bedroom) looks over the grounds and has a king bed and a flat screen HDTV with BluRay DVD player.

Note: The beds and linens, throughout the house, are brand-new, top of the line and very comfortable! We want everyone to wake up thinking they just had the best sleep of their lives!

The huge bonus room is on the first level and has sliding glass doors that open to the pool. It has its own bathroom/shower, dining area with a “mini-kitchen” (microwave, sink and refrigerator) so people don’t have to go upstairs for popcorn or cold drinks, etc. The sofa opens up to a comfortable queen bed. There is an HDTV with satellite, BluRay and a Wii console with several children's and sports games.

The Washer and Dryer are near the kitchen. Ironing boards, hair dryers, shampoo, beach towels and pool toys are provided.

Parking: There is a 2-car garage and outside parking that will accommodate up to 5 cars.

Water fun!

Boats are available for rent locally. This is the best way to get to the more secluded beaches (also available by car or ferry.) Kids entertain themselves for hours fishing right off the dock!! We provide kayaks and a paddle boat for enjoying the bay, but be sure to wear water shoes to protect your feet from the sharp oyster beds!

Sunset Cruises on the pontoon boat may be chartered with the property manager.

A child protection safety fence for the swimming pool is available upon request.

Old Palm Harbor is a small, charming coastal community with delicious restaurants, boutiques and shopping nearby. There are fun fairs and festivals throughout the year.

In addition, you are conveniently located to many famous attractions on the Gulf Coast of Florida. It is minutes to no less than eight world-class beaches! including Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island, and Caladesi Island rated one of the top 10 beaches in America.   We couldn't have had a more relaxing, beautiful location for our vacation! Brian and his wife, Cadie, were gracious and helpful. I've never been in a vacation rental that was so completely equipped...from nuts to soup, they thought of everything! The house, itself, is even prettier and more spacious than the pictures show. I appreciated that it was on a quiet, residential street, but not far from the beach or other local attractions. We loved the Sponge Docks!! Local restaurants are outstanding. Fishing was a blast off the dock. We saw dolphins and one manatee! Loved the mountain bikes and kayaks. Kids can't wait to come back next year. We'll be back!

  Great place for two families!

  My sister's family joined mine for a December stay in this lovely home. Between us we have 5 teenagers, and this home was a great place for all of us. The finished lower level made a great retreat for the kids, and the abundance of flatscreen TVs meant everyone could watch what they wanted to. The kayaks also got a lot of use by everyone to explore the local waters. Lots of fish jumping - wow! The home is also very close to the Pinellas Trail, which was great for running or walking. The bikes were too small for anyone in our group to use, although the trail would be perfect for that as well.
  
  The pool got some use, although the weather was not really warm enough while we were there. The hot tub is the same temp as the pool (about 87 degrees), so we did not spend a lot of time there.
  
  The rental also includes a pass to Honeymoon Island beach, which is a short drive away. We went there and to Clearwater Beach. Both were beautiful.
  
  During our stay, we hosted a 50th anniversary party for my parents. The stairs up to the main level were a bit daunting for a few of our elderly guests. Otherwise, the house was absolutely perfect for a gathering like this. The large dining room, open living room, and abundant outdoor seating made this a very comfortable place to entertain. Our guests were very impressed with what a beautiful place we had to celebrate a milestone event.
  
  We had a couple of requests while we were there, and Brian was very prompt in meeting our needs and answering questions.
  
  All in all, we had a great experience here, and I would heartily recommend this home to anyone.

  Absolutely Wonderful Waterfront Home!

  I have stayed in many private vacation home rentals, but have never stayed in a home with as many amenities. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. The outdoor recreational activities were great: fishing poles for the dock, kayaks, bikes, beach pass and umbrellas, and the pool with toys. The interior of the home was very comfortable, and stocked with everything you could need, from a spice rack in the well appointed kitchen, to the laundry soap that came with the washer/dryer. The bedding was so comfortable, we had to look at the labels to find out which brand was purchased. The house had plenty of room for two families with children and our friends to all stay over and enjoy the holiday weekend. Thank you again!
