We are a family of 5, three kids ages 13, 11 and 8. Having just braved Orlando for 5 days we needed to relax and this was just the place to do it!
It really is as close to the sea as it looks in the photo!! We looked out of the sliding glass doors onto a small terrace, a beautiful pool and then, the Gulf. The wildlife was mesmerising, as were the sunsets.
The house was spotlessly clean and everything worked. It was well equipped, we especially liked the gas bbq, which we used most evenings to cook wonderful steaks and seafood on. Highlights for the kids were the jacuzzi on the terrace and the tv's in their bedrooms!!
We had a great day out at Busch Gardens, which I thought was better than the Disney and universal parks as it was massive and had something for everyone. However we all agreed that our favourite day was a boat trip organised by the owners son, where we visited the small uninhabited islands off the coast and then travelled up the river estuary into Tarpon Springs.
This place is worth a visit, for its Greek connections due to Sponge collecting and some good restaurants (Rusty Bellies a favourite, it also has a good fish mongers attached), as well as a small aquarium.
Really a great place to relax after Orlando, shame we had to go home!!!

"A Piece of Heaven" is pure relaxation and beauty. Watched dolphins playing, beautiful sunsets and wonderful accommodations. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation. The master bedroom was so inviting..a king size bed that was so comfortable we slept in every morning. And the view from the bedroom was incredible, not to mention the pool area. Hopefully we can come back in the spring! Dianne was great...really wanted our stay to be enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Breakfast overlooking the Ocean and didnt want to leave . The wonderful pool and outside area are great for Bbqs and the whole house is comfortable and wonderfully relaxing. So many things to do close by, beaches shops and great places to eat. It really is a slice of paradise and get a way from it all. We will be returning.

What a wonderful stay! The owners are wonderful and as soon as you step in the door you are transported as you see the Gulf from the front door. The location is peaceful and quiet but you're close enough to civilization to do all you need to do. Check out Tarpon Springs which is about 5 minutes away to get the most wonderful sweets and spices. We stayed on the back patio, grilled and watched the Gulf change as the day went by. The sunsets are breathtaking! Between the pool and the dock (which my son could not stay off) we had a wonderful time! Don't miss out!

You walk in the door and are transported into the Gulf! You literally are right there at the water. The sunsets are breathtaking! There were dolphins feeding there everyday, as well as a manatee and jumping sting rays. The pool is a great place to cool off as well as doing laps. The fishing is great and be sure to go out with Captain Todd! Great vacation and hope to go again next year.
