Highgrove is a new resort style community. As the gated community has 165 homes only it provides a cosy, neighborhood feeling. This is added to by the Mediterranean red roof styles which are rather unique for this part of Florida as well as a pool deck that is made up of real tiles. The community will have a clubhouse. Above all however Highgrove benefits from an excellent location making it possible to be in Disneyworld in approx. 10 minutes only. Our holiday was added to by the attention to detail of "the small things that count" within this holiday home. It felt like a "home from home".
The kitchen was excellent equipped (kettle, potato peeler etc) with items that are commonly overlooked. There were additional sheets, towels etc.
The location worked out well and the pool was superb. Our only area for feedback would be that the information folder detailing the local Walmart was at Southern Dunes (30 miles round trip!). Whereas, 2 days after arrival we discovered the Walmart 0.5miles down the U-27 at Cagan Crossings (2mins away). This was not indicated on any of the Contempo or arrival desk information provided. After a long flight and 2 small children, we could have done with this updated information.
However, our holiday was wonderful. -

We found the property to very clean and comfortable. The pool was great to have at the end of our days at Disney World and we found the proximity to Disney and Universal to be quite reasonable. Very glad we chose this type of accomodation for our week stay.

what a great villa in a wonderfully quiet location.the villa had all the necessary luxuries we would have hoped for.the pool was ideal and the covered outdoor veranda area was great while we endured the rain from hurricanes fay,hannah,gustav and ike.the kitchen was very well equipped and we were able to cook up some delicious english roast dinners. once outside the gated community,everything we needed for shopping was litterally minutes away. never had a problem getting to the theme parks from here as the "192" and the "i4"were so close.also,great for access to tampa and clearwater.will definately give contempo a go when booking our next stay in 2010.
