The Point at Sunlight Beach vacation home is unique in that it is at the very end of Sunlight Beach so it is surrounded by water on 3 sides. Situated at the very end of the road, this is the perfect place for gatherings for family reunions, company retreats and weddings celebrations, but also great just as a vacation retreat.
The home sits directly on a driftwood strewn beach, with beautiful views of sunsets, the Olympic Mountains, the Seattle Skyline and even Mt Rainier in the distance. Spent a week at Heron House with spouse, an in-law, and friend. Comfortable enough for 4 adults, allowed for very comfortable gathering as well as private spaces. Common room was furnished very comfortably. Many windows provided lots of cross ventilation and sunlight in the upstairs. (Climbing stairs is a must at this property) Cooking area was easy for several people to participate without tripping over one another, and dining area was perfect. Loved the colorful artwork, and the remote location for the television. There was an internet connection, but required hard connection- no wifi. At first, was put off by this, but later realized it was a nice break from being connected 24/7. Nice little beach not far away, and visible from the upstairs. Would stay there again, if the master bed was replaced by a king size. The existing bed was too small for two, and the frame transferred all motion- making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Also, the master tub needs an anti slip mat or something, as it's pretty slippery with all the water-softener. If you don't care about being in downtown Langley in a more remote place (it's about a 6 mile drive), you might enjoy a stay here.
