Clovelly is 20-30 mins drive from the city centre and 30-40 mins from the Airport.
The Winelands, Cape Point, Waterfront, Robben Island, Boulders penguins, Chapmans Peak, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the famous restaurants and bars of trendy Kalk Bay fishing village are a short drive.
Hobie cats and kayaks can be rented at the nearest beach, within very easy walking distance. Nearby beaches of white sand and calm tidal pools offer some of Cape Towns best swimming. Horse-riding, hiking, surfing, whale-watching, shark-diving, fishing, diving and outstanding scenic drives are nearby.
The Cape Town Stadium is a half-hour drive, or you can take the train. The station is a 15 minute walk. It's very easy to drive around Cape Town's main sights, but the city centre also has a sight-seeing bus route if you don't have a car.
Clovelly golf course has been awarded 'gold' status by the SAA Golf Directory and is literally on your doorstep. Clovelly has an extended practice putting area and driving range as well as a championship 18-hole course. Two other gold-rated courses - Steenberg and Westlake - are a short 10m drive.
Clovelly is one of Cape Town's most popular courses, with fairways flanked by mountains on either side. Open to non-members, the course offers discounts for Western Cape affiliated members (special membership can be arranged for long-stay visitors through the club). Golf clubs, caddies, trolleys and carts are available. For less experienced players, the Simon's Town 9-hole golf-course offers a spectacularly scenic alternative right on the ocean (10km from Clovelly).

Me and my fiance had an amazing time at clovelly apartment. It was so cosy,comfortable and fully equiped compared to other guesthouse apartments. We accesible to shops and town in fish hoek. I would recommend anyone to stay at this wonderful guesthouse it provides you with that holiday experience,plus you get to see the beautiful beach to amazing mountain views.I will definately be going back to clovelly lodge and highly recommend everyone to experience this place.

Easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, many tourist attractions. The host is friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The apartment is basic but it has almost everything.

We appreciated receiving a tour of the apartment with an explanation of the utilities and amenities upon arrival. This made us feel more at home during our stay. The apartment was very roomy and comfortable. The view in the morning across the conservation area was very peaceful. It was nice being just a bit off the main thoroughfare, so that we had easy access to the rest of the Cape without the noise of traffic. Everything was very nice and clean and really we had no complaints whatsoever.

Very good location, quiet with views over the nature reserve and towards the coast. Accomodation was comfortable and well proportioned. Excellent facilities and hosts extremely helpful.

My friend and I being pensioners are very conscious of costs. We came down to the fair Cape ostensibly to see the flowers but also wanted to see the penguins and other tourist attractions. Our two nigtht stay at Clovelly Lodge wad most enjoyable. We were amazed at the luxury of the self catering apartment as felt it was far above our means. The owners couldn't hafve been more helpful. We will definitely go there again should we visit Cape Town.
