I stayed at the Mai Tiki studio apartment in June of 2012. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the studio apartment was clean and well-furnished. It was private and safe, and close to Coconuts, the beach, and several eating places. I mostly walked to the places I wanted to go. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again this summer! :)

I stayed at this lovely studio apartment for 10 days the end of May - early June. The apartment is charming, a nice sized studio, full kitchen and bath. It has everything, including beach chairs & towels, so all you need is a bathing suit for the short walk to the beach.
The owners, Wayne and Bekki, who also own and run the art gallery and studio below the apartment, are a delightful couple. They were more then happy and available to help with anything I needed while still respecting my privacy. As noted in previous reviews, Wayne's art is interesting and shows his quirky sense of humor and character. He and Bekki have been in the area for years - you can see the impact his art has had on Cocoa Beach in the pieces of his art located all over town.

Me & my husband decided that we'll go to Florida for holiday, to see last space shuttle. We found this apartment on internet & contacted the owner through email. Everything was straight forward, so we couldn't wait. When we came to Cocoa beach, we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment was better than we expected. Actually, it was brilliant :o) Beki was waiting us when we came, gave us the keys & everything we managed on our own. We spent 16 days in Florida, it was my first trip to us, but I have to say, this accommodation was the best ever. The apartment was perfectly clean, with all facilities & accessories which we needed, plus something more (small refreshment was waiting for us - thanks :o)) It's situated just 2 min walk from lovely cocoa beach & short walk distance from perfect restaurants (perfect breakfast bistro & superb lobster shop), which have been recommended to us by Wayne - thanks :o) & it's just 1 hr driving to Orlando & 1/2 hr driving to KSC, for us the best experience. The best at the end, the bed in apartment is the best bed what we ever slept in, it's comfortable & huge! I want it at home :o) Thanks very much Beki & Wayne, when we come back, we are definitely booking your apartment again :o)

Mai Tiki Studio was everything my girlfriend and I could have asked for during our recent stay in Cocoa Beach. It was in a great location (1 block from beach) and had many different restaurants around it within walking distance. The studio itself was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, towels, etc. While it was close to beach, it was also very private (with the private roof top deck as well) so we were able to get away from the spring break crowds when needed.
Wayno and Beki were great people and we really enjoyed meeting and talking with them through out our stay. All of the art work that was in the downstairs studio, in the apartment, and pieces in production were amazing as well.
Overall, it was a great trip. We are definitely planning on coming back in the near future and will be staying at the Mai Tiki Studio. I would strongly recommend this studio (or studios as there is another one directly next to it) to anyone traveling to the Cocoa Beach area with a small group.
