This was our first vacation to the Outer Banks. The location of the house was a little off the beaten path - about 6 miles away from the beach. We did not feel like we were at the beach - just in some random neighborhood. The house was very nice and we did enjoy the crabbing off the deck. The community pool and beach area needed sprucing up, but overall it was a nice area. Will stay further south and towards the beach next year.
