The Condo bridge to Skeleton Rd, Colombo 5, provides quick access to the City along major roads. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this area and Pizza Hut round the corner provides the delivery of a wide variety of food. Taxis are cheap and can drive up to the porch.

The indicated rent is inclusive of free unlimited Internet, Premium cable TV, Water, Gas and a survival pack of food and drinks to last until you visit a supermarket close by. It excludes the cost of metered Electricty at the official rate of Rs. 42/unit up to 20 unts per day and at Rs. 51/unit on the excess. The additional payment for a rate inclusive of electricity is US $ 20 per day. You can save $10 to 15/day by using the fans and restricting the use of air conditioners. The rental for the use of a folding bed with mattress and linen by an additional occupant is $ 10/day.

Some times Images of an apartment or house enhance it and the reality is less that what one imagines in this case the images are alluring enough but the real thing is better. What is behind is Sue, who is a decorator at heart and gives it the artistic touch and blend that produce a most harmonious environment. She further considers that like on 4 and 5 star hotels a traveler does not arrive with food so she leaves with compliments an assortment of light food and snacks, bottled water of course, and well stocked bathroom all of it complementary, and unlike op hotels there is no charge for what you find in the refrigerator... But book early and make sure you get the full term you need.
Unfortunately I had to move a few days later as it had been previously booked. I thought my self lucky to get another luxury apartment in the same luxurious Havelock City, but what a contrast, whilst the apartment was nicely decorated, they gave you nothing, not a bar of soap, no dish washer, not even a sponge to clean dishes certainly no bottled water and not even towels... the contrast was so off putting that I went elsewhere.
If you want a great stay lodge with Sue's apartments, but book early and make sure that you have the place for the duration...

Nice, spacious, clean, comfortable place. Good location not far from centre. What we liked was the apt was set well back from main roads set in substantial grounds therefore it was quiet and relaxing away from hustle and bustle of traffic noise. The facilities are good and the views over Colombo fabulous, amazing sunsets over the ocean in the distance. The roof garden was a nice place to relax.

My family (four of us) stayed in Havelock City apartment last three years (during December holidays). We found this place to be very modern, comfortable, clean and convenient and big enough for us (kids loved the garden). View from the living room is nice and cool breeze from Indian ocean is refreshing, covered car park is a plus. Most of all the owner 'Sue' is a nice person who is ever ready to help (even in the middle of the night). Survival pack in the apartment with basic food stuff, milk, tea and coffee was our life saver when we arrived in Colombo just after midnight. Food is just around the corner, turn left for fine dining or turn right for fast food.

Pros- convenient location to walk/ drive for a short distance to main restaurants and activities. Very modern, comfortable and highly functional appartment. Catches sea breezes thus eliminating the need to use the air conditioner. Sue is great to deal with and ensures your stay will be memorable.
