This was the first time we had stayed at the Hedges Court apartment in Colombo and it was so comforting to have stayed at this beautiful apartment as it made our holiday more special. My wife, our two and half year old son and I stayed for approximately two weeks and did not regret once we had chosen to stay there. From the first correspondence from australia to Sri Lanka with the owner to the final departure it was quite easy and prompt making things comfortable for us in terms of confidence in the booking and honesty. The apartment itself was extremely nice with modern amenities, fittings and layout which suited our needs especially with the child. As for food and groceries, there were many places within easy walking distance from which you could purchase simple things such as milk, bread, fruits, veges, snacks, rolls, nappies, medicines etc.. The security guards and caretakers for the block were extremely courteous and obliging which also added to the pleasantness of our stay.
We absolutely would love to stay at this place again when we visit Colombo and would recommend to anyone the same.

Im Dezember 2012 war ich mit zwei Freunden fĂĽr eine Woche zu Gast in Mr. De Silvas sehr gut ausgestattetem apartment in Colombo-Maradana. Mr. De Silva ist ein sehr freundlicher, dabei zurĂĽckhaltender Vermieter, der sehr um unser Wohl bemĂĽht war. Die Email-Kommunikation mit ihm im Vorfeld war effizient und schnell (allerdings nur auf englisch!).
Das apartment liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig im 7. Stock eines modernen apartmenthauses in der Nähe von Odel und mehreren Supermärkten (darunter arpico Supercentre). Die ausstattung ist sehr gut und größtenteil neuwertig: von Waschmaschine über Kombi-Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Toaster und ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck und Kochutensilien (für vier Personen) ist alles vorhanden. Die beiden Schlafzimmer mit den angeschlossenen Bädern (1x Badewanne, 1x große Dusche) sind sauber, kaum abgenutzt und wirken freundlich. Sat-TV, Bluray-Player und Klimaanlage (in allen Zimmern) vervollständigen die luxuriöse ausstattung. Der Clou ist der üppig bemessenene Swimmingpool auf der Dachterrasse im 14. Stock (Nutzung kostenlos!)mit einem grandiosen Blick über Colombo!
Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das apartment jederzeit wieder mieten, wenn wir einen längeren aufenthalt in Colombo planen!Response from Piyasiri De Silva - 01/03/2013

I stayed with my wife and two kids in this beautifully decorated modern, recently introduced apartment in the heart of Colombo for 10 days in early aug, 2012. Apartment is quite spacious well equipped with all modern amenities as listed in the web site. We did enjoy the pool located in the 13th floor roof top garden where you can get a stunning view of Colombo city, and the nearby lake.
There are several supermarkets and restaurants in the vicinity. Odel near Town Hall, Bread Talk and arpico super store to name a few. This is a great location for travellers to enjoy in Colombo city.
The overall service we received was outstanding. Most importantly it is an owner managed apartment so that he takes great interest to keep the occupants happy. We would definitely stay in the same place if we were to visit Colombo again.

L'appartement est très propre, très fonctionnel.Bien situé car à côté d'Odel.J'ai été très agréablement surprise et j'ai eu plus que ce que je pensais avoir dans cette location. On peut vivre immédiatement dans cet appartement.Vous pouvez y trouver sèche-cheveux, prise multiple avec transformateur, table à repasser, fer à repasser...on a même du café et bouteilles d'eau à disposition!
L'accueil est chaleureux, parfait et tout Ă fait arrangeant.
Je vais toujours louer cet appartement quand je vais à Colombo car j'y ai trouvé tout ce que je recherche et il y a aussi toute la sécurité dans cette résidence.Response from Piyasiri De Silva - 11/09/2012
