I stayed in the Compact house with 4 other ladies and we had a lovely time there. We stayed there for 2 nights, and could easily walk to a mall close by to find places to eat. There were some souvenir shops close by, as well as some cafes etc. The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Lalith were very helpful and gave us ideas on what we could do during our stay there.

While traveling to Sri Lanka I have found this home to be an accommodating place to stay that has met all my needs. This home, on Lauries Rd., will provide you with all you need for your trip to Colombo with easy access to train station, ocean, shopping and more. It will be your home away from home. In addition to having great accommodations you will find Lalith to be a wonderful resource for advice about Sri Lanka (history, touring, wildlife, historic sites, and renewable energy...).

Nicely located house, very spacious, with a small garden, a nice cool veranda and a garage.
It is situated at a short distance from the main shopping centre and markets. It is also close to bus facilities. -

Our time at Lalith's house in Colombo was excellent. An ideal location - quiet and peaceful - yet near to the ocean, and the town centre, our stay here was perfect. Safe & secure also helped ensure an easy and enjoyable visit to Sri Lanka.
