This property, full of unique and orignal features, is able to sleep four people in one double and one twin room and is set very close to the village pub. Just eight miles from Buxton and set within the heart to the village of Combs is this delightful property – a wing of the owner's 19th Century stone-built farmhouse. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Very relaxed stay at Jessie's cottage. Lovely welcome pack and helpful owner. Great amenities and had everything we needed including travel cot and high chair. Great location for visiting family nearby and coming back to an open fire in the evening was even better!

Relaxing break in a comfortable cottage in a quiet location.Warm welcome from the owner to a well equiped cottage,somewhere comfortable to shelter from the British summer weather!!Close to attractions such as Chatsworth and a reasonable distance from alton Towers.

A comfortable well equipped cottage in a wonderful location.
The service was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Towns, for shopping, and country, for walks, are close and the local inns provided good meals.
Only one bathroom/toilet for four wrinklies was not ideal but we managed without problems. -

We spent New Year here surrounded by snow! The cottage had all we needed with a lovely log fire and a pub 50yards away. The owners made us very welcome.
We did some wonderful walks and the scenery was breathtaking - we will return! -

The cottage had all the amenaties that you need for a great stay, unfortunatly it rained every day while we were there, but there was plenty of room dry our cloths, boots and rucksacks, the beds were very warm and comfy and we had a television in each bedroom, the kitchen was very well equiped, and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
If you want to eat out the pub is under a minute away, there are good walks from the door. All in all we had a really good if wet week. The only drawback for walkers is that there is only a shower not a bath, walkers like to ease their aching muscles in a bath. -

We really enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped, comfortable cottage, we found it very homely. We appreciated the owner's friendly welcome, with wine and cake, fresh milk, tea & coffee, and a welcome card - nice touch! We were told if we needed anything we only had to ask. A very good base for exploring the High Peak in all directions, this cottage is tucked away in a little lane in the centre of the village, with only a 30-second walk to the excellent Beehive Inn, where the food was fantastic! What was really nice was the peace and quiet!
