Alba is a 2 bedroom apartment that stands out from the rest due to its large garden which borders two sides which is unusual for an apartment of this type. In summer months the garden is bathed in sunshine all day long, complete with sun loungers and outdside dining table and chairs making it perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining at any time of the day. Alba has 3 rooms (2 bedrooms a lounge/kitchen and a bathroom) and sleeps up to 5 people (4 adults 1 child). The main bedroom has a King size bed, the single bedroom has 2 single bed and 1 pull out bed. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price, clients are advised to bring th...eir own beach towels for pool use.

The Living area contains 2 sofas TV/DVD ipod dock. The kitchen area contains fitted units and house an oven, grill, 4 hotplates, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen/dining area opens onto a the terrace and garden beyond with outstanding views overlooking the lake and and Isola Comacina.

A particular feature of Alba is the large garden which borders two sides of the apartment which is unusual for an apartment of this type. Alba is set in a Residence on an elevated position within a quiet sunny area, on an unmade no through road, close to the lake (500metre), shops, bank, restaurants and other local amenities (all within 1 km). Additional Location Information

Sala Comacina is a medieval village on the western shore of the lake midway between Como Town (South of the lake) and Menaggio (centre of the lake). The village centre boasts restaurants, where you can sample typical lake cooking, shops, a bank, boat and ferry service and a few bars.
Lido di Lenno is approximately 2km away, the exclusive beach is one of a handful that has sand. The Lido is a popular place in the day for beach lovers, and equally as popular in the evening when it is transformed at sunset into a plush bar ideal for aperitif and then into the evening for restaurant food and lastly open air disco.
For sports lovers there is ample choice with tennis, golf and horse riding close by whilst further a field there is windsurfing (25km) and Skiing Resorts (150 km).

  We stayed at alba with 2 boys for 1 week in July and we regretted that we could only spend one week there due to our travel schedule - the place, location, view, service - everything is at its best.
  Just to name a few -
  - view is even better than on photos :-)
  - hospitality and service - excellent
  - apartment is super clean and has everything you need for a family break
  - we knew that it's almost always occupied but it looks like new one
  - a lot of nearby places to eat and enjoy dolce vita
  
  For the improvement we can suggest two -
  - internet (wifi is a must these days)
  - table outside (it's not comfortable to move one table back and force)
  
  We're planning to be back:-)
