Eric is super friendly and operates a very laid back, peaceful villa, private enough but with a nice communal atmosphere. The villa is right on the lake with a private shady lawn, sand-deck and a pier providing lake access.
The villa was well decorated, clean and perfect for our family with young girls, a good kitchenette with all dishware and a nearby shop made cooking easy. Plenty of restaurants along the road. A common room is well stocked with books, movies and toys for the kids to play with.
The villa is best accessed by ferry with a short, flat walk to the dock. Ample car parking is provided but the driveway down from the main road is for confident drivers only. There is a big height difference between the lake and carpark/road served by an elevator.
Excellent location for lake activities, road cycling, close enough to Bellagio.

I really haven't much to say.
We've been to Northern Italy several times before, but never visited the Como area. Our first stay in Pognana Lario was definitely a success, and we'll most likely be back next year. -

What an amazing and memorable stay at The Lake Como Beach Resort. We stayed in august 2011 for a week and the weather was perfect. The villa was very well equipped and the view from our balcony could not have been better. Eric and Robin were fantastic. They were so welcoming and really went out of their way to ensure we had the best holiday. They could not have done more for us and really made our holiday special.
A must do: hire a speed boat (which can you moor off the villa’s private jetti) and use the BBQ’s overlooking the lake.

Lake Como Beach Resort is right on the water with its own private boat dock. Rent a boat to tour the beautiful lake and Eric will arrange for a boat to pick you up and drop you off right at your front door steps (almost). Be sure to take the ferry to Bellagio for a fun filled day. You can take the elevator up the hill, and a small hike up to the grocery store, (be aware of the store hours before you go), and make sure you get the sausage kabobs to throw on the grill. Buy some wine and you'll be set for a great meal at a great place. We stayed for a week after being in Tuscany for two and really enjoyed, hanging out, swimming, eating lots of salami and cheese and drinking lots of wine in the most beautiful location. The pictures are a true representation of the beauty. You will be amazed. The view from the bedroom is incredible, the location is great and Robin, Eric and jiselle are awesome. What more could you want?

Owners Robin and Eric were terrific hosts who could not do enough for us. Wow ! Can;t wait to return. Our favourite spot in all of the lakes area by far!
Magnificent Views on the waterfront and of the entire lake! Situated across from George Clooney's house, too bad he did not invite invite us for a glass of wine during our stay. :) Maybe next time George, we were a little busy !

My family and I have voted this as one of our best holidays ever. The position of the villa, right on the waters edge for swimming and relaxing as well as great hikes up into the mountains. The easy boat hire, and accessibility to the town of Como, and other lakeside sightseeing, and even clubbing at night by boat, made this a great holiday all around!

Lcbr was everthing we had hoped for in a private small resort. Perfect size with just a few other families. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and layed out on the sun loungers all day and went swimming in the lake which is even better than any pool.
We had great fun. It was relaxing, beautiful and a magnificent stay.
The gardens are spectacular with the views of the lake behind them as well.
Eric was a lovely host who went out of his way day and night to please all his guests.
Jiselle is the little ambassador and was a delight.
We were impressed with their effecient operation. First class!!
We loved every minute here and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Wir haben einen wundervollen Urlaub am Comer See verbracht. Die Location ist sehr gepflegt und eignet sich perfekt fuer einen traumhaften Badeurlaub mit kleinen Strand und Badesteg. Die anlage liegt am schönsten Teil des Sees und ist eine perfekte ausgangsbasis fuer ausfluege nach Como, Bellagio und in die Berge. Nette Restaurants in der Umgebung, kleiner alimentari mit grosser auswahl in 5 Min. zu Fuss erreichbar. Ganz besonders sind die herzliche Betreuung und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter vor Ort. Wir werden bestimmt weitere Urlaube dort verbringen.

Ons gezin(vader,moeder,zoon van 18 en zoon van 16)heeft 2 weken doorgebracht in het Lake Como Beach Resort.De locatie was geweldig;direct aan het Comomeer dus schitterend uitzicht!Wij werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Eric en Robin.
Eric kwam ook iedere dag langs op het complex en was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.In het appartement was alles aanwezig;handdoeken,theedoeken,opgemaakte bedden etc.Voor de jongens was het leuk dat er Wifi was en dat Eric en Robin een hele collectie goede films hadden staan,waar gratis gebruik van gemaakt kon worden. Een nadeel is wel het omhoog en omlaag lopen en het boven parkeren op een schuine helling.
Leuk was ook dat de gasten vanuit allerlei verschillende landen kwamen.Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad,zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Fam. Klay -

Having just returned from a week at Lake Como Beach Resort, we can say it is indeed as wonderful as the previous reviews suggest.
The location was spot on: the views were absolutely stunning, Bellagio and Como were just a short journey by car or bus and the local passenger ferries stopped just 5 minutes walk away from the resort.
The apartment was extremely well equipped and looked lovely.
Eric and Robin were the perfect hosts, very genuine and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to provide helpful information as well as things like toys and games for our young daughter.

I searched extensively when looking for a vacation rental for my family. We wanted something close to lake also kid friendly. The owners Eric and Robin were wonderful hosts. They were there when we checked in and also had a bottle of wine in the villa for us. We stayed in Villa Mya which was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Words can not describe what it is like to wake up to the view from the upstairs bedroom. Our children ages 10, 8 and 2 enjoyed playing in the garden and walking on the dock. The location of the villa is perfect for venturing to Como to shop and returning for a relaxing evening. My husband was more than willing to break i the new grill with meat purchased from the butcher right up the road. The people at the local butcher and Peppo's bar are more than willing to help you. When staying you must go to the butcher and try his daily special one night. It is just as good as paying for a expensive meal but cheaper. Honestly I was prepared to be let down and did not have too high expectations. But let me tell you that we had an awesome time and have already begun planning for the next time we can go back.
We enjoyed talks with Eric and he explained the boat routes to us. Robin was very gracious to our kids and let our youngest play with a basket of toys during our week stay. She thought it was her treasure chest. In the salon there is also a good selection of movies that you can borrow to watch in your villa. Also brochures to local sites.

The beds and mattresses are high quality and are completely new in 2010. Easter week was completely full at the Resort and apologize for any noise from other guests.

Honestly speaking, we have never been so impressed with a location and holiday rental such as this property. It sits on fantastic gardens with a private sand lido and has a boat dock and lovely balcony where you can sit and stare at the lake all day. We will be coming back in the summer or fall to stay again.
The resort was spotlessly clean and so well maintained. The villetta was very well appointed and designed. Just lovely!!
There is no comparison around. We have stayed in many holiday rentals and hotels around Lake Como and have never felt more at home nor had the excellent care and customer care we were given by Eric and Robin, the owners.
Beautiful place. Excellent top notch accommodations, you will never forget. Very classy!

All I can say is Wow! Villetta Miya, Eric & Robin were fantastic. We arrived in October thinking we were late but we were just in time to take in the relaxing Lake Como. Our stay was just as perfect thanks to our helpful guests and their lovely villettas. When they say, 'on the water', they are not kidding! From our window and balcony we sat with a glass of wine (almost daily). We will always remember your kindness and hospitallity.
