We booked our stay with Eric and Robin at the last minute but they kept us informed on all the details. The communication was perfect and so was the reception by Eric. He told us all about the facilities and the nice things to do around lake Como. Throughout the week Eric frequently got in touch with us to make sure everything was as ok.
We have had a very relaxing week at a gorgeous resort with a very enthousiastic and helpfull Eric and with a stunning view over the lake!!
One little advice for those who travel by car: if you take Eric's advice to do your shopping in Como (we recommend it) make sure you have the right addresses or directions to the supermarkets. Driving in Como can be somewhat confusing and not all of the supermarkets are on the main road to the resort. -

Our stay began with a wonderful drive from the Como train station to the Villetta by a driver recommended by the owners. We were knocked out when we saw the Villetta, and loved every moment we were there. Owners Eric and Robin have created a special place. Mid-stay, we were exhausted and just hung out at the Villetta's beach and were so refreshed the next day to continue our assault on the area. All the comforts are provided, plus the owner Eric escorts you to a local grocer, points out the ferry dock, gifts you with local wine, gets you online (free), shows you the satellite TV, and then checks in with you during your stay to ensure everything is perfect. The night-time views across the lake are special, the lending library and video library are great, and the setting of this fabulous property could not be better; close to the lake action, but quiet and removed if that is your preference as well. A true gem, do not miss it.

We stayed for one week at Villeta Felicita and a second week in Costa azurra. Felicita is the better of the Vilettas as it has two additional windows. The properties are very well appointed and equipped with good kitchen areas containing a near full sized fridge freezer, an oven and four ring gas hob. The cooking pots provided were limited and didn't include anything you could use in the oven nor was there anything in the resort's general store of extras. This was a shame as I had planned to leave dinner cooking in the oven and enjoy the sun. The location of this complex is second to none with exceptional views. The access to the resort is hairy and is underplayed by the owners for rear of putting people off. They would be well advised to be more candid so people know what to expect. The drive is steep with sharp turns. There were three scraped vehicles during our stay. Although there is a lift taking you part way up to the carpark there are also many steps and slopes to get to the lift. The under 40's competed as to how quickly they could climb to the road. The over 55's gasped in varying degrees.However without overcoming the access you would miss out on a glorious spot with good accommodation that is peaceful, right on the lake and was a wonderful find. It couldn't be better. Eric, the owner, is a charming man who does everything to make your stay comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend Lcbr. Finally Ladies, if you come here don't bring your high heels!!

We are in the process of adding casserole dishes and additional pots to all the villettas for the oven and stove. Being a new residence, we keep adding additional items and keep trying to improve our services. We really appreciate all your comments and feedback.
The landscape is very terraced on Lake Como and the lakes areas and the roads are quite challenging with cobblestone streets and some steps. Access to our driveway can also be a challenge for some drivers on arrival. Eric can help you navigate the driveway so that it will be easy the second time around.
As far as the Italian drivers, you just need to ignore them and go at your own pace.
We so enjoyed having you and meeting you and look forward to your return.

Wow, what can we say but that this location and holiday have to be the best we have ever had and Eric, Robin and Jiselle were fantastic welcoming hosts. Amazing location and with breathtaking views. You will never wants to leave.
The ferry was only a short walk from the villas which we used a lot. You do not need a car as the public transport is so good. There are shops nearby to get all your basic needs and a lovely butcher shop for the bbq.
This place is like heaven. Wonderful little resort, just perfect.
You outdid yourselves and have a great place here!
We will most certainly be back very soon.

My husband and I had a spectacular holiday at the Lcbr this summer and cannot say enough. Eric and Robin run a top notch small resort that caters to guests from around the world. It was like a little United Nations. Guests with varied backgrounds. Wonderful warm and welcoming feeling. One feels like family and it can't get better than that. Everyone is made to feel unique and special. Eric qand Robin have something very special here that they offer all their customers. A unique kind of service that is 5 star. The most expensive hotels in the world do not offer this kind of caring, professional unique service, where one is treated like a king and queen and made to feel so very special. Unlike any other place we have ever visited. Thank you for an impressive, outstanding vacation.

Truly, this is by far the best possible location one could be on the Lake . The views are incredible, the villetta gorgeous and the amenities unbeatable. Being right on the waterfront is unmatched. The Villetta is located in the Lake Como Beach Resort which is a private, exclusive small resort of only a few properties.Very quiet and peaceful and the views some of the best ever experienced on Lake Como- our favourite lake by far. This romantic spot is only minutes to Bellagio and Como Centro and the location is central on the lake.
There is private parking as well as elevator to take you to the waterfront and beautiful views from all over thr property.
We bought our groceries from the local grocery in Pognana and had it delivered to the villetta daily with no trouble.
The ferry is only a 3 minute walk and we used the public transportation the entire time we were there except to arrive and depart for the airport.
Favourite restaurants were Bella Vista and National in Veleso as well as Bilicus and Salice Blu in Bellagio. D'Abate in Lezzano and Il Pescatore.
Favourite pizza- Eugenios in Nesso.
Owners Eric and Robin as well as sweetheart Giselle were amazing hosts. Thank you all for a tremendous week in Italy. We will recommend to all we know. You have created a lovely resort in Pognana Lario- Very Special !!

Once you have entered the adventurous drive way you will be immediately captured by an amazing view overlooking Lake Como. Reaching the well maintained resort you find yourself in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Robin and Eric who run this lovely hideaway are awesome! Since my husband unfortunately needed a doctor they were taking care of us as if we were family. Thank you so much for your incredible help - we looking forward to come back and enjoy your place again!

The resort is situated on the shores of Lake Como, with spectacular views morning, afternoon and night from my balcony.
Eric and Robin are hands on hosts, always available, always going the extra mile for their guests. Highly recommended. ( Only caveat...This is not a vacation for anyone with mobility issues...it is a steep walk from the road down to the resort).
Added bonus: the dock for the ferries that run up and down the lake is only a two minute walk down the shoreline and viewing the lake, the villas, and the surrounding hills from the boats was a highlight of my wonderful vacation. -

This resort ticks all the boxes, clean, comfortable and very friendly. A real home from home the host Eric even fetched us Gin & Tonic one sunny afternoon. The resort overlooks a stunning Como view and is a steep climb to Pepo's Bar and a brilliant shop that has everything including a great deli. Getting about the lake is easy (once you've mastered the timetable) and inexpensive by ferry that stops next to the resort.
We have a nine month old boy and found we had everything we needed. We had a very relaxing holiday and would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break. -

Our villetta was immaculate and clean as well as spacious.
Quality furnishings and very tastefully decorated.
A very well maintained property with gorgeous gardens and views spanning the entire lake. Our accommodations were excellent. We had fantastic views from both levels of our villetta. Our villa was on two levels, with balcony next to the master bedroom overlooking the lake. You can't beat this place for location or views.As far as quality for the price, this is top notch!
The cost for the week here is like paying for Villa D'Este for one night. First Class accommodations!!

Fantastic little private resort on Lake Como on the Bellagio side of the lake only 15 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay enormously. The villetta was very tastefully decorated, new and modern. Luxurious towels and sheets and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous manicured grounds and gardens. The views from all areas of the property are stunning, Wonderful views from the balconies overlooking Lake Como. The Villettas are directly on the waterfront, just a coiuple of feet from our villetta.
We enjoyed laying out on the sun loungers under the sun umbrellas, soaking in the sun and beautiful lake. The views donl;t get better than this. Even the views from the BBQ area are fantastic!! The locals are most friendly and helpful.
Eric and Robin were gracious hosts and nothing was too much. Thank you for that. Top notch accommodations on Lake Como!
Our favorite restaurants were Bella Vista, Salice Blu, Eugenios Pizzeria, National and Il Pescatore as well as Spangola in Como and Billacus in Bellagio.
A must is renting a motorboat if Faggetto with Eric's help and cruising the lake, you don't even need a license - great fun!
One of the best trips we have ever had to Italy.

We had a wonderful, warm welcome and felt very much at home and at ease during our stay. Eric and Robin could not have been more attentive. They frequently went out of their way to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable experience. This complex is highly recommended for a relaxing get-away for all the family with easy access for boat trips and bus stops. Great time had by all!
